Love this item I have just over 2300 sq ft and two levels and have had no issues with streaming or intetnet. Even the cable guy was excited when he saw it!!!

After months of research...settled on this Netgear router. This replaced a 6 year old D-Link router. We have 2 smart TVs, Ipad, 3 iphones, Ipod touch, 2 laptops, Xbox, all on the wireless network without issues to date. Great range and speed. Netflix streaming works great. I have not tried the back up feature yet but do plan on using it soon. Mobile app is also useful. Very happy with this purchase.

Purchased when on sale saving $100. Main reason for my purchase was to use it for my Apple TV, Previous router signal too weak, NetGear is perfect for my needs!

Nighthawk Dual-Band Wireless-AC Router with 4-Port Ethernet Switch is exactly what I needed. I have a detached vintage clock workshop and occasionally need to use my notebook computer but my wireless connection was not powerful enough to give me internet access. Now that I have purchased the Nighthawk my wireless connection is functional. I now have internet access to my clock workshop that is approximately 60 feet away from my wireless Nighthawk router. I highly recommend the Nighthawk Dual-Band Wireless-AC Router with 4-Port Ethernet Switch for stronger internet wireless connection.

This was an easy setup and installation that took only a few minutes to complete. I think it took more time to get it out of the package and located near our broadband router, than it did for the setup. The strong signal and ease of use make this a great buy. It's a bit more expensive than some items, but I feel it is worth the cost because of the output, abililty to handle all bands and the reliability.

Time to update your wifi since there are more devices that need the speed or just because there are more in the household? This would solve your problems easily.

Easy to setup and very fast. All of my family's devices are connected and we are getting optimal bandwidth now.

I've used my cable company's wifi router for a few years and have consistently had issues with speed and range. I decided to buy this router and our family is able to stream several devices at the same time and the range covers my entire house and yard. I am very happy with the performance.

I live in a 4-plex that has family in two of the other units, my niece, nephews, & daughter have nearly 12 items on the WiFi at any given time, this router can keep all of them running fast . We have had as many as 17 items on & no noticeable difference in performance!

It has lots of setup options, easy to personalize if you know what you're doing, and runs lightning fast home network. Very good if you have lots of devices.

Before this router I used a cheap basic that did not provide good wi-fi even siting beside it. This one gives a good strong signal even at great distance away (75 yds or so).

This is a great router. No complaints about it. Easy installation, great wifi speed and signal, and I have not lost the signal or had to reset it a single time.

This router was obviously made specifically with the needs of the masses in mind. Super easy setup. Multi-frequency allows the user to really parse out the home network to avoid collisions and sharing issues. The router easily handles multiple devices streaming and gaming simultaneously and has enough power to cover my whole property without the need of range extenders.

This router has a 1 ghz processor and really is a dedicated computer meant to handle all the router tasks. I got it because I needed a router that could handle the faster uploads and downloads of my ISP, and also handle my house needs which is very heavy use involving at least 3 computers. This router has been up to the task and seems to allocate bandwidth to where it is needed. Compared to my previous router, it more quickly loads pages to watch from the internet. As a bonus, I am able to plug in a thumb drive (one with 120 gb of memory) and have this be a shared hard drive with the computers in my house and also with my brother who lives 14 hours away. All the functions are accessible through a browser page, whether or not I am online, and is fairly easy to set up. I have not used all the functions. I only need the router's handling of the upload and download traffic, wifi, and the shared hard drive. The only downside I find is that it was more spendy than any other router I have purchased before, being $150. I had paid, the most 90 dollars for my first one, and then bought used ones from $5 to $20. This one was a leap in my budget, but it did seem necessary and seemed to be worth it.

With in an hour of plugging it in I had changed the password, had 10 items connected wirelessly, 3 hard wired and running a mix of 2.5 and 5. Couldn't be happier. Reset twice since setting up. I believe it's a first generation Roku that locks up. Other wise a lot faster then the Cisco it replaced.

Returned a Linksys router that kept dropping wireless and bought this one. Wish I had just bit the bullet and got the netgear first. Its awesome! Fast WiFi, easy to setup and lots of features.

Recommended by the Best Buy consultant. I was looking to extend my wi-fi further into my yard and also help with streaming. This router did the trick. I am now able to receive my wi-fi signal to my fire pit and my streaming is much better than before. This router is great for my size house and for my usage. Would recommend this product.
