This switch did everything except connect the cables for me. It works well and I believe increased my speed on a few devices.

Extremely fast switch. Needed to split line coming into room to 3 different accessories. Cable box and camera system would chug and pixelate with other switches. This switch instantly corrected those issues and improved the overall quality of both electronics.

I love this switch. It replaced a different unmanaged 5-port switch, as I needed a couple more ports. I have a PS4 Pro, 4 streaming devices, a PC utilizing the link aggregation feature, and a wireless access point hooked up and everything is perfect. If you're looking and have a similar setup to mine, or at least a few different devices, I would highly recommend this switch. Remember, for the switch to be really useful, you need every device you use hooked up to it, or it could be almost pointless over a cheaper switch. I had bad experiences with Nighthawk routers in the past, so I was hoping they could do a better job with a switch, and they did. I didn't even know it existed until browsing around one day in Best Buy and I'm so happy that I noticed it.

Great price on the gaming switch. Works very well. No problems. Helped to eliminate lag on the computers for gaming.

Really like this switch, it's built well (metal vs. plastic), very easy to login to and configure, it looks sharp. I like the the power port and ethernet ports are all in the BACK, this makes it nice sitting on the desk, the throughput of this switch is great and I actually can tell a difference with my network performance after installing this. My one complaint is I wish the switch had an internal power supply versus a DC Jack and power brick. That would have made it pretty perfect!

I have a Nintendo switch, PS4 pro, and aXbox one X, I needed a Ethernet switch that would give me top speeds and not compromise on performance, and the nighthawk S8000 did exactly that, while it won’t boost ur speeds because no Ethernet switch does, the drop off is minimal.

I have used several manages switches. This unit works GREAT !!!! Easy to manage and setup. I needed a fast switch for all my security cameras and this beast does it with out looking back. I would defiantly recommend this unit to anyone serious in their wired network speeds.

good switch, it is what I expected and it doesn't throttle down the speeds coming from my r9000

Have mine attached to my router to add additional ports. QoS is big feature and works well.

This switch is fed by a cat 6 internet cable and it goes out to a Playstation a large screen TV and a home theater entertainment center there is no lag and there hasn't been any problems with this device plus it looks very cool and lights up and very modern.

Bought this to expand the number of network ports available on my router. Works like a charm with great speeds and low latency. Great interface to monitor your connections. Two ports that support NIC teaming to the router to ensure there is plenty bandwidth.

Bought this to save myself the trouble of running more Ethernet cables through the walls of the house and this thing works like a charm. Would recommend to anyone in a similar situation.

I was beginning to have trouble lagging/drops with my current switch, so I saw this one for gaming on sale. I bought it and replaced my old one. No more lagging or drops. Easy setup and plug and play. Nice heavy duty case and cool look! Should last a long time.

Replace an older non-managed 10/100/1000 switch and the impact has been tremendous. Hadn't anticipated a real change in the download speeds but was presently surprised to see how much throughput I wasn't getting. The additional investment of this "managed" switch was well worth the price. Being able to aggregate ports and prioritize ports was also a nice feature at the switch level.

Bought this prioritize a hardwired drop to 5 devices. With latest firmware ports cab set to 1 of 4 priorities. Works excellently....helped my setup with gaming and streaming devices attached.

The Netgear Nighthawk 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch works surprisingly well. FAST internet!!! Easy to use and it looks cool too. My only complaint is that you are unable to mount it on the wall:( This is the best switch I have ever used.
