disappointing all around
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product specs says 10k sq-ft coverage, couldn't get it to reliably cross a 50 foot pool deck from a basement window with direct LOS, had to return. App was a nightmare to navigate, though once setup was finally completed successfully it didn't need to be done again, despite constant disconnects. Overall really turned me off Netgear as a brand lately TBH.

Really extended my wifi

Not a plug and play

Horrific Customer Service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this product because I already have a NETGEAR router and I thought they would easily synch with each other--not the case. When I called the NETGEAR customer service it was horrific. Rather than walk me through correcting the problem, they immediately requested access via RDP to my laptop so they could try and fix the problem. The service person was rude and had a hard time understanding english. They asked several times if the problem started today or tomorrow....tomorrow???? After they connected, they closed out my existing Internet tabs instead of opening new tabs; attempted to login to my router (using default settings) while never asking. I watched him try to gain access to my router and when I called him out, he said he was just checking. He then told me I had foreign IPs connected to my router and that was the problem; and to fix the problem I would need to buy a new firewall and wipe my devices..... I resolved the IPs he called "foreign" and they were to established connections to Microsoft and Apple. HORRIFIC technician operating way outside his lane. NEVER again with ANY netgear product!!!!! If I could give negative stars for this product, I would!!
