    Would give it zero stars, but not an option. I have the same poor quality wi-fi, so spending $189 was a complete waste of money. Don’t buy this item, DOES NOT work!!!

    When it worked, it was great. But, I had to keep rebooting. It would cut out and take out several of my internet connections. Once, I had to reboot the router. I returned the item.

    After signing in and setting up an account with NetGear had a very difficult time getting it to connect to our server. Spent over 2 hrs trying different things than gave up and returned the unit.

    This extended did its job, but could not provide the range that I wanted. Not sure if I can return it for a refund as it was purchased three months ago. Maybe someone from Best Buy can contact me?

    The first one I bought gave out within 5 years. I bought this second one and it couldn’t get the job done. I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re trying to pair it with Nest.

    I purchased a Ring system and I found out that I needed an extender which hasn't worked well with the system. I still have weak signals.

    I have no reason to believe that this is not currently working. However, I can’t really tell if it is doing anything because it keeps trying to re-initiate the device after I ran the firmware update.

    I set up my wi fi extender through the Nighthawk app and my wifi kept randomly dropping devices and wouldn't allow them to log back in. Unplugging this unit was the only solution. I decided to give it another chance, so I factory reset the unit and went through the setup again. The app had me update the firmware and bricked it. Just missed the BB return window, so I'm contacting Netgear. Hope they can make it right.

    Thought this would create a broader network with SAME SSID throughout home. Not the case. For services like Sonos that require all devices to be on same network, these extenders just don't work.

    The extender is online and working, but truthfully, I cannot see a difference in internet reception in that area of the house. All said, if I could do it over again....I would seek some other product. Thanks.

    Not great. I paired this with the Nighthawk AX6600, it was not good. Did not get any additional coverage. I would not recommend.

    The product was costly but didn’t help my WiFi situation.Have. NetFear Router that has worked for years. This extender did t give me the added reach that I needed .

    Our WiFi has all kind of issue since installed. Having issues with bandwidth, security protocols and weak signals. There was no improvement if signal strength.
