This item does exactly what it states. Set up was easy and quick. The only drawback to this is that it does extend both 5.8 bands as I have a triband router, but I don't know of any current product that has this option.

Boosts my room over the garage which has terrible reception for some reason. Now A90j, ps5 and treadmill are running strong. Good extender

This range extender does the job. I no longer have buffering on one of my TVs and another in the basement, which previously couldn't get wifi, now can. Its a bit pricey but it does the job.

Helps to get a solid wifi signal to a dead spot in our house, but although the wifi works where needed, it’s really slow. The connection has stayed and is constant. Haven’t used the wired option, just the wifi. Maybe the wired setting would be faster? Only giving 4 stars for slow speeds even on the 5g wifi network.

Signal strength is increased over a wide range. Simple to install. Make sure you follow installation instructions and install both 2.4 and 5 ghz.. If not , you will only get one and must do an install again.

We live out in the country and use a hotspot for our wireless. It is great for a day or two and then we hit the 21 gb threshold and the signal is throttled back. Bought the Netgear AC2200 and was blown away at the speed it generated. Called support to help when I had an issue and they worked with me on signal for the laptop, 3 phones, tv, satellite, and ipad to make sure each one was optimized. A great purchase and worth every penny!

This may be an excellent product, however it interfered with our current modem/router. It definitely was not compatible with our Arris modem/router. When I first began using it, we had no problems, but in a short amount of time, it began causing the wi-fi to drop. I would have to reset it constantly. Returned for a full refund.

I have a 2 story house and for some reason one room would not get WiFi from the existing router. I bought this extender and it does the trick, and without any compromise to the internet speed.

This is my second X4. The first one I bought was a couple of years ago but was not based on mesh technology. The reason I was shopping to replace the older one was that in my current home configuration, the older model was having difficulty staying connected. Although this newest one has the same name and model it works better than the former one. I imagine this has to do with the mesh concept. This newest one was much easier to pair as well.

The Netgear Nighthawk x4 WiFi mesh extender was easy to install. It extended our WiFi signal to the areas of the house where WiFi was limited or non-existent.
