I plugged this unit upstairs to extend the range of my Nighthawk C7000 modem/router/WAP located downstairs in a very large house. The extender now covers all the areas missed by the router, including the garage for both the 2.4 and 5GHz bands. Really like the design. The whole unit plugs directly into a standard AC wall outlet and even leaves the other outlet accessible.

Had so areas lacking service - installed and solved problem. Easy set up.

This WiFi extender solved all my weak signals inside my house. Now I can see my security camera video image moving smoothly and not ‘jumpy”.

I purchase this one hoping it would work better than the one before which was the ac1900. As of now it seems to be working way better.

Bought this to use with a Sprint ZTE Warp mobile hotspot that we use for home internet in a 5700 sq foot house. The hotspot covers one part of the house and this extender covers the other part. It easily set up itself with the hotspot and now we have full house coverage. Works well for our needs because we don't have to move the hotspot around the house.

The instructions to install the extender are good. Nothing too difficult. Our guest room upstairs was at 10mbps download before the extender and now is 40mbps -much closer to the 60 that we have on the modem.

Easy to set up and use. Not easy to move to new area. Best Buy doesn’t honor their warranty policy. Net gear told me that I could have gotten it replaced under warranty at BestBuy but BestBuy said they couldn’t. Net gear helped me get it reset so it is good for now

I'm running a Nighthawk X8 extended by this beauty and the only trouble I'm having is with the dual 5ghz bands. They don't consolidate into a single consistent signal to extend, but when it's going it's perfect!

Product is good and does the job. Only thing is that sometimes it would in and out of connectivity. For my home size it works good.

It's an ok product. I had hoped it would perform better, I get minimal boost to other side of my home and my garage, where I really wanted it. In the future I hope the booster technology improves. So for right now I'll put up with mediocre performance.

Needed to extend my wifi in my back yard. We could not use our speakers out in our yard u til we bought this . Works good so far. No issues. Easy to connect.

This works as advertised. It does extend your range and allows your devices to connect seamlessly and smoothly. The app can be somewhat problematic however.

Purchased it to extend my existing router. However, the signal was still weak. Because the router wasn’t as strong. As a result my phones, computer, and internet was running slow. Upgraded the router, and just like that boomer issues. Signal extends to top floor and basement without any issues.

We have 4 cameras on the other side of the building that had no WiFi. Once we bought this everything works great. We bought the Eero at first but it didn’t work because of the distance. This is a life saver. I highly recommend if you have a big area that needs to have Internet.

I needed to have this in our split level home to be able to use internet without interruption in the farther part of our older home. I had to move it once, and the item connected back right away with main internet box. Worked great! So glad I purchased this.
