Network Extender
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to have this in our split level home to be able to use internet without interruption in the farther part of our older home. I had to move it once, and the item connected back right away with main internet box. Worked great! So glad I purchased this.

Satifactory performance for this price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have my router in the living room and I put this Wifi Range Extender about 20 ft away. The signal is good although I still experience some minor speed drop. But overall, I am satisfied with this purchase.

Great Product and easy set up
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product was fairly easy to set up. Took about 20 minutes total including finding the best spot in the house. We have noticed that we no longer are seeing issues with our TV streaming and our son has said he has no issues playing online with Xbox. So far no issues with this product it seems to work as stated.

More Wi-fi- Range
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I placed this Nighthawk x4 Wi-fi extender in the middle of my home. It works as expected. I was really having difficulty with the internet connection going out several times a day, so I explored the possibility of being way too far from the router, which was indeed the problem.

WiFi booooooost
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing came in clutch. Just had Verizon fios installed but due to the lower level being surrounded by concrete the signal wasn’t great. This thing extended the range and it also has an Ethernet port on bottom for a hard wired connection.

Home on the Range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted this extender to ensure I always have access to my wi-fi on the property. I need to be able to see client messages no matter what time of day it is, no matter where I am on the property. This range extender keeps me covered all the way out to the fire pit as well as all around the garage and then some. It works and that's good enough for me!

We shall see
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Attractive extender. Beautiful design. Stable when plugging in and out and easy to set up. I would buy it again. Unless however this unit, whom I waxed so eloquently about, causes me to buy it again in the short term, I don’t know, maybe due to signal strength issues or basically anything that would make me to even think about this thing for the rest of my life. It should just work... indefinitely. In the case of failure, that case, I would not buy it again and would return here to warn my fellow brothers and sisters of the perils that could befall them if they continued with said purchase. So far... Excellent. Could this rating deteriorate into a “Poor” classification? I submit to you that it could. You must be prepared mentally to handle such swings in performance of things that we would consider to be not eligible for failure. But alas, they sometimes fail. Failure is inevitable. As for this WiFi extender, we shall see.

Excellent choice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to get my Wi Fi to the back of the house. The rep at the store recommended this one after I explained my needs. This one works and I love that I can now use various devices from every room in the house now.

Great to expand WiFi signal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a WiFi extender that would work on the second floor of my house. My main router is on the opposite side and end of the house. The Netgear was exactly what I wanted. I have tried the cheaper models and they don’t work. This one is definitely worth it.

Extending your Comcast router beyond 45 feet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let’s cut to the chase. As good as the Arris router is (Comcast rental or buy your own), you still get drop out zones if you have a big house. My house is hardly huge, but suffers from degradation of service 45 feet away and on the the lower and upper floor. My solution was to buy my Arris router (same as Comcast) and boost the signal by placing this device about 20 feet from the hard wired router. It creates a 2G and 5G network with same password. It’s a nice device since it tells you with green and red lights if you have an optimal placement. So far we have solved the dropout zone problem. Though the solution was expensive if you consider Arris router plus this extender ($440). Terribly expensive on top of humongous Comcast monthly fee.

Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Usually when I buy electronics, something always happens to make an otherwise easy install, a long drawn out affair. Not so with this wifi extender. The Nighthawk X4 AC2200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender was so easy to set up and use that we were up and running in a matter of minutes. I couldn't be happier with this product.

Easy setup!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used this as an extender for my current Netgear router. It was very easy to setup, you dont need to plug it into anything other that power for setup. You log into it through a web browser and the rest is automatic. It increaed my streaming capability about another 100 ft through walls. Great advanced features if you want to set up restrictions as well.
