Not worth the money. I had an older extender with less power and was looking for an upgrade in speed and distance. This did not increase either speed or distance as compared to my older model.

I needed to extend our WiFi signal into a new room addition on the other side of our home opposite where the main router is located. Took maybe 10 minutes to set this up and get it working properly.

Extender has REALLY helped with WiFi signal/connection for Cell.. &, quite a bit for Smart TV, as well.

Easy to set up and works great. Have a small workshop/garage detached from the main house and the WiFi signal was weak so bought this extender and placed in the room nearest the garage and helped the signal greatly.

I was hessitant at first if this extender would really work. But after setting up everything it really worked! My wifi upstairs is getting a full signal.

Beautiful design. Stable when plugging in and easy to set up.

We needed this for our son's online gaming fix. The modem and router are located on a lower floor opposite of his gaming console. The instructions were easy to follow and had it up and successfully connected in about 5 minutes.

Netgear rocks it again with simplicity. In fact, the app will guide you through each step and even notify users if compliance issues are found and offers resolutions ... the right solutions.

Worked well, as a new network not as an extension, same password allows seamless transition.

Worked well in extending wifi from house into garage area and beyond. It took some time to get the Nighthawk extender to connect to the wifi from the router, but once connected everything has run smoothly. It really helped eliminate some of the dead spots I was experiencing, and allowing me to hook up a security camera in an area that previously I couldn't connect to the wifi for proper video transmission.

Works great! Able to enjoy Wi-Fi in the spare bedroom without trouble (lots of concrete walls in my house that limited the Wi-Fi transmission).

Bought this extender to better receive wireless signal in a detached garage 25 feet from the house. Not much better than without the extender

Awesome improvement in signal strength and easy to navigate the security settings. Great item looking forward to using under more demanding circumstances ie; more remote locations that have been difficult in the past.

Despite the walls inside my house are all made of concrete and not drywall, I thought range in the second floor would decrease significantly.... it didn’t, this extender is powerful... worth the cost

I live in a condo and the entry point for the service is on the bottom of three floors ( drive in garage ). In the bedroom, the Netgear AC1900 router was having issues with signal strength. So, I bought the extender and setup the necessary subnets and I find it has improved the Netflix (smart tv) reception. Would I say worth the price? No, it stabilized the signal so it would not buffer during Netflix streaming. No increased speed other than the solid connection.
