I needed to be able to have internet access at home for work during CoViD 19. I had a space in my basement that would be a great work space but the WiFi was limited as my router was up Stairs. This product did exactly what advertised. The Nighthawk set up app worked great!

So far so good. I can't get a good signal in the dead zone of my house now and the speed didn't really take a hit. Setup was a breeze.

I recently purchased the Netgear Nighthawk Wi-Fi extender. The main reason I purchased this was to boost my Wi-Fi signal to my car part which is approximately 200’ ft. away from my router. After installing I noticed a huge difference in my Wi-Fi capabilities for all my devices now have full bars, the camera outside in the carport now has Wi-Fi signal. Great product works well highly recommend it.

Needed this for working at home. Our router is upstairs in the kitchen, and my office is in the basement, which didn't get a strong signal. It did significantly improve the signal to the lower level of our home, but I'm not totally sold it's range is as good as advertised based on the distance from where I have this positioned. It also took a bit of fussing to actually get my devices to connect. Make sure you create separate networks for the extender, so you have separate 5g and 2g extensions. I had to go on the Netgear site to make some adjustments to get this to work, but once I did it was fine. My complaint about this though is someone who isn't even slightly tech savvy might have struggled to figure this out, or would have had to call someone else. Overall, it works for me, but I think Netgear should make someone improvements to the installation process, so it ready out of the box for the average consumer.

This is a great product to use if wanting to extend your WIFI. I have the 1GB package with cox, which provided around 600mps download on wifi. I have this device in another part of my house for my desktop, computer it hardlined to it and still pulls 450-500mps download. Easy to use, great range, and great speeds

Bought this as our parents’ house did not have good signal for video conferencing and internet speed on the other side of the house. Tried extenders from other companies with no luck or it would stop working once we left. This product delivered. Super easy setup and a year later, still blazing speed. So glad during social distancing that we had this installed so we could enjoy HD video catch up calls with Mom and Dad. Highly recommended!

I bought this for an elderly neighbor who has a huge house. Her internet service enters the end of her house that is opposite where her home office is. Instead of spending the time and effort stringing a cable to the office or wiring in an access point, I bought the AC2200 for her. All she ever does is read/send email and read the news on the internet. Setup with an Android phone was extremely easy and the AC2200 worked immediately. She has a very strong signal. She has been using it four about a month and it hasn't "hiccupped" one time.

I bought this to extend my Xfinity wifi to areas of my home that had weak/no wifi signal from my main router. This seems to have fixed my coverage problem. It is capable of broadcasting 2.4 & 5 ghz networks. It connected super easily via the WPS button on my main router and the Netgear extender. We use the 5ghz for extreme gaming that takes a lot of bandwith and it does not disrupt the rest of the house's wifi.

It had easy set up from the website. A little disappointed for not having an apple app for easier access instead of just android. Took a few minutes to kick in with my router but once connected I haven’t had an issue losing connection since. Overall very happy with it and price wasn’t too high either

This works great in our garage for phone, streaming tv and music. Takes a little bit for everything to jive upon connecting, but once it did, it worked great. I will say that the price could be better.

Set up is simple and it does extend the signal but some devices seem to get hung up switching between the router and extender. I’m going to switch out to the Nest WiFi setup to see if it’s smoother.

Our ~3,000 sq.ft, 2 story lathe & plaster home with a home office is a nightmare for WiFi. With 75GB FIOS & G1100 Quantum Gateway Router, this AC2200-Nighthawk X4 has proven to be the best WiFi Range Extender we've tried (and we've tried plenty). The key to optimizing any WiFi system is placement and in a home like ours the signal passes through the 2nd floor/ceiling better than through the walls, Setup was easy and so far very reliable. Only have had to reboot twice in 9 months, which is really excellent.

I'm lacking a good way to pull cat6 to the upper floor in my condo. After trying a couple of ways I decided to try this extender. What I like. I like the ease of setup and the simple web based GUI. What I don't like. Routers see the extender as one ip address. For this reason any NIC connected to it has to have a dynamic address, small but annoying issue.

I have it outside in the well house and it has a range of about 300 to 400 feet in open area. I just wanted to get WiFi to the barn 50 feet from the house. The well is 25 feet from the house and 25 feet from the barn.

My wifi from the cable company barely covered the room the modem was installed in. It was very frustrating. I couldn't use my phone or laptop or tablet beyond my family room. After installing this unit (very simple set up) I can now use them anywhere in my apartment, in the garage, on the patio, in the driveway, and even up to 30' away from my abode. I'm supremely happy with my purchase and the performance of this unit. All my connectivity issues are now resolved.

I recently purchased a new NetGear router and although my coverage through out our house was good I decided to buy this for coverage on our porch & patio. Very easy set-up took about 10 minutes and the range covers both our house and outdoor spaces. If you have a NetGear router I would recommend this one for a few more dollars v a less expensive extender
