WiFi extender

I placed it in my sunroom. I am able to stream at full strength now through out my home including the backyard. Best Buy tech was not sure this product would resolve my WiFi issue completely and explained that I could return it for a full refund. Great product so far.

Just push the WPS button on your router for 2 seconds, then jump to the WPS button on the NETGEAR extension device and wait 1 or 2 minutes and your're done. (FYI - If you have 5ghz as well 2.4ghz do WPS one more time)

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The product generally works fine within a limited area, but the set up can be very frustrating as the user guide instructions are not the same as the set up recommended by Netgear's own technical support. I had to reconfigure several times as a result. Also, be very wary of combining your router network(s) with the One Wifi Name and Smart Connect features as that may actually slow down your connection speeds as the Nighthawk determines which network your device should join. As a result, the extender works well when you have devices that are not on the move (Smart TV, Roku, etc.) but is not so great for mobile devices if you keep the One Wifi and Smart Connect features on.
