This router was fairly easy to set up. After hooking up I had to log into the router and set certain preferences, but wasn’t hard. I’ve owned for a few months now and it is very stable, never lose connections. I have 2 iPhones, 2 iPads, 1 MacBook, 2 Security Cameras, 3 Firestick TVs, and 3 Amazon Echos all connected to this router and speeds are fantastic. Router is in a two story 2000 square foot home and when I’m on the opposite floor or even in the backyard or in the garage, I still have a solid connection on my phone.

While on the pricey side I noticed a definite increase in throughput on and consistency of the wireless connections and the pipe back out to the internet was much better than using Comcast's hardware. Range increased, speed increased and able to support more devices without collisions, hard to argue.

I needed a router with multiple bands so that I could run several wireless security devices as well as desktop computers, tablets, laptops, and so forth. This easy-to-set-up router is perfect for my needs. It even provides a strong connection all the way to the basement!

I purchased the Netgear x6 to replace a older Netgear router due to the amount of wireless devices I added in my home. Due to the six antennas I have a stronger wifi signal which covers all of my two story house. I even have a good signal in a area that I didn't before.

I have been having coverage troubles with all of my Comcast provided equipment. I have purchased extenders and changed base units numerous times. On recommendations of a Comcast technician, I purchased this unit and had it installed. Let's just say; the performance is flawless, does not need constant rebooting like Comcast equipment, and has 3 band technology. In my house, we can have over 20 devices running at any one time. This modem can handle the needs of my family. Worth every penny in lowered frustration, wasted time with Comcast customer service and lowered down time.

Great so far. Have good coverage all around home inside and out. Haven't tried to see how far I can go but it reaches my guest house which is about 75 feet away. Should easily be able to handle all of my devices and those of any guest with room for future expansion.

I had problem after problem keeping all my family's devices running on our router. Always getting complaints about being kicked off the internet. After realizing how many devices could potentially be running at any one time, I went to Best Buy looking for a solution. With the advise of Best Buy staff, I purchased the Nighthawk AC3200 and couldn't have been happier. Easy to setup, great parent feature in the Netgear Genie to be able to individually block one of the kids devices (until they get their homework done for example) and handles all the devices that I can throw at it. I added it up and had over 25 devices on at one time and the gaming never slowed.

We moved into a new house and needed to extend the range of our wireless router. This routed did that and also increased the speed that we were able to download games and videos.

I've tried a couple other routers from other companies and this one was the easiest to setup. It also has a great range! I placed in on the ground level and the wifi signal reaches the 2nd floor down to all areas of the basement. And the price was nice too!

Quick, easy setup. Router provides great range, although I will admit not quite as great as I was hoping for. In a little over 3000 square foot 2 story house and in a couple of spots the signal can still be a little weak at times. Still miles better than my TWC provided router.

Amazing router, I have always liked netgear, however this router does not disappoint; if you do a lot of gaming and streaming and have smart devices in your house this router is the perfect one which 3 different channels to put different devices on it definitely helps your wifi speeds. It’s perfect for gaming I haven’t had any lag at all and it always is up to date.

The product performs as was advertised. If you run several devices simultaneously, this is the router to use. Our last router would bog down as devices were used at the same time, but this one does not. The range on this router seems to be very good as well. Pricey, yes, but a very good product.

This router has exceeded my expectations. I have all 15 of my home devices using it and our access speeds are much better with it. I don't have any issues with getting it's signal from anywhere within the house. It is located upstairs and even the basement gets a strong signal.

This blew away my Linksys similar router! I had a primarily Linksys/Cisco home network but after using this router, I upgraded my hubs and wifi spots to Netgear and am very pleased with the performance - Sonos works perfectly as do all of my Nest Thermostats and Dropcam monitors!

I was looking for a router to handle all the devices in the house. I talked to a salesman and was told to handle several devices I need to get a "AC" router instead of a "N" router. It was a little more money but so far it has proven well worth the investment. I would buy one like this again.

This router is the best I have ever used. It has excellent range and covers my entire house. I have 3 stories and 3300 square ft, and can get good signal all the way to the top floor, even when my router is set up in the basement. Would highly recommend.

easy to install. You do very little to install, plug it in and it pretty much sets up itself. The coverage is far greater than our last router. We have 3 buildings on a 1/2 acre lot and the signal reaches all of them.

I needed a new router to replace my old (6 year-old) netgear router and I wanted to take advantage of 801.11ac. I had seen mixed reviews about this router, but decided to take a chance. So far so good. Installation was easy enough. Although, I did do the setup directly on the router (192.168.1.1) instead of the utility provided. I thought the utility was less than useful. Three weeks in and I have had no issues. I am able to stream movies to TVs through out the house without issue.

Great coverage. As good as its predecessor but with more bands. I'm sure price will come down. I sold my older Nighthawk so I wanted to try this one because of the new band 802.11ac. Maybe the R7000 is all you need but if you want to splurge and keep up to date get the R8000

Great router that keeps a strong signal. May still need an extender for long ranges but certainly improves speed and strength. Note that wireless will still operate at around 20% of available speed as compared to a direct line connection but still about twice as fast as standard routers
