I was having issues with my other routers and purchased the Nighthawk AC3200 Wi-FI Router. This is by far the best router I have owned. It took care of all of the issues I was having with connectivity and being able to connect to the router no matter where I am located in my home. If you need further range check out this router. It just flat out works!

Upgraded from an old D-Link router that was constantly dropping devices, even with a static IP. This router was very simple to set up and has a ton of features that most won't even need, but there are there just in case you want them. I have, at a minimum 7-10 devices connected almost all the time and I have never had a drop or slow internet speed.

Had so many issues with other routers in my house. It's pretty big and so we have issues extending wireless reception to the corners of the house. This is the only one I have tried (went through 7) that is able to cover my whole house without extenders. Great product, easy to use. Only Con: Looks like a mini space ship. Stands out in a crowd so to speak.

This was purchased for my Mothers house who lives out in the middle of no where, they were using the standard at&t router and they always had wireless issue. I replaced this so she can have full range home business networking and it has been great since. No lag, great overall!

I used to use an “all in one” modem/router combination and after experiencing many slow downs and difficulties with range and streaming I researched how to fix my problems. 8 found that by using a dedicated modem and separate router I could increase my speed, range and security. This is a great router and I do recommend it.

After my 3 year old dual band router struggled to keep up with our needs, I upgraded to this router. Beats my expectations having a smart tv, 3 cell phones, 3 laptops, a ps4, xbone, and a few other random devices now and then. Keeps up with hd video streaming, and gaming, all while reaching every inch of our 2 story home.

I replaced an out dated linxsys router and what a difference in speed due to the bottle necking we used to get. I am also getting greater distance than my other router. The only negative would be I still have trouble sending signal to one area of the house, but have been told it is due to the metal roofing between the router and room in question.

Upgraded to the AC3200 for the range and the multiple bands. Extremely easy to setup and was up and running in under an hour. Love the fact that there are really 6 bands if you look at differently. There are three private and three guest bands that can be setup. A little disappointed in range. While it is good, it is not as good as I would have expected for the price.

Long range, covers my whole house. Great speed, a lot better than what I previously had (verizon issued router). I have had to reboot it once because one of the network bands would no longer connect but there has been a firmware upgrade sense then that appears to have corrected the problem.

After researching this router and reading many reviews this seemed like what was needed for getting full strength wifi signal to all the different nooks and crannies around the old house, previous routers and range extenders never did the job. The Nighthawk X6 does not disappoint, it is a snap to set up and get beaming, the signal strength and range is outstanding, and laptops, smart tvs and devices can be running simultaneously with no discernible hit.

At first I was scared to set up this router, given that I have never done it before. But I took the initiative to learn and went for it, fortunately this router made it very easy! The instructions are clear and easy. I did notice that my range did increase and i have now a better consistent internet connection.

I've had this device about a month so far, and it has not let me down. My previous router was an AC Linksys and I thought it could handle the workload, but it struggled with multiple devices. This router is not only super fast but it handles ALL the various devices i have running in my house (15 at last count).

This router was easy to set up. I have a large 2 story home with the router in an upstairs home office. The signal is strong and consistent throughout the house. I installed it and forgot about it. Just what I wanted.

So first off I was upgrading from a built in wifi from Verizon which did its jobs.but let me say, this is amazing and I didn't know how much I would really notice performance improvements wow from the first day it was like I got a instant speed increase Netflix was smooth with over 3 people steaming plus a few steam games downloading.

After installing this new WIFI router my internet speed on the attached devices has greatly improved, no more buffering for the movies we watch! This unit was easy to set up. At first I had trouble with a wired computer connecting but that turned out to be a bad patch cable. With just a short time of use I am very satisfied.

I use this router as an access point after my FIOS router to get a little more bandwidth for the (surprising) variety of devices in the house that need Wi-Fi. They really start creeping up on you - printers, phones, tablets, laptops, chromecasts...I ran a few speed tests and its throughput appears to handle some more demanding tasks, including video streaming for 9 ip cameras. I did notice some devices on the 5 ghz band would occasionally lose connectivity, but with the caveat that they lost connectivity on the opposite corner of the house and two floors away from the router. That, I feel, is an understandable issue and not something I'd count against the otherwise excellent router. As a side note, the router's software is pretty intuitive (although I have a good working knowledge of networking) and it was fairly easy to manipulate to my needs. All in all, it's a solid router and I'm happy with it so far.

My children wanted to make sure that our router was quick enough to handle both gaming and streaming video. They are able to watch movies or play games at the same time with no problems. We have a 3600 sq ft home and there are no problems getting service anywhere.

Had issues with my previous router constantly. I had dead spots in my house and signal would drop unexpectedly, which was a sign my router was on its way out. I normally go for the middle product; not the cheapest, but also not the best of the best. This time I decided to splurge and went with this nighthawk. Turned out to be the best decision I made. No more dead zones in my home and i even get signal through parts of my yard. Handles all of my devices perfectly.

Well, first off, no 5 stars. Here is my reason, the equipment gives me decent reception all the way to my rear patio, but sometimes it just can't handle the distance. I'm asking a lot from it and what I will suggest is that it be located as high as possible to get the best reception. I have a 2 story home and have it upstairs pointing towards the major part of the house, interior reception is good throughout the house. I'm able to stream in HD anywhere in the house. As soon as I step outside into the patio area the HD will auto adjust and sometimes will lag a bit. I have to say that the home is 3000 sq. ft. and there is plenty of walls between it and the outside. Definitely has made an improvement over the outdated unit it replaces. Features, I like that it has plenty of RJ45 ports and the WiFi is excellent with 3 channels to choose from (two 5g and one 2.4g) It allows for multiple wifi electronics with no bottle necks. The installation/setup was simple, you can customize as much as you want or just use the default settings. So far it has worked flawlessly and my only gripe is the degradation when you go outside.
