I recently upgraded my internet speed through Comcast from 200 MBPS to 600 MBPS as part of a 2 year contract. I never rent the 2 in 1 unit that comcast will lease to you. As a result of the upgrade I needed to purchase a new modem and router. This router was easy to install. You can monitor your networks through the app. This router can handle streaming on multiple devices at the same time all while having other computers, tablets and phones on the network at the same time.

I bought it to replace an older netgear model. It's a lot faster and has a better signal at the far end of the house. It handles all of our connections. We don't play games so I can't comment on gaming performance.

We've had problems in the past with trying to get the wi-fi to the other end of the house (didn't want to buy a booster), but Netgear's Nighthawk X6S AC4000 does the trick! It is the best router we've had to date.

A great, fast router! Easy to set up. We had problems with our old one which wasn’t even more than 2 years old so we got this one and haven’t had a problem!

This so far has been a good router. I replaced a Linksys AC4000 router. I will never ever own another Linksys product again. Netgear has stand behind their products and they keep the firmware up to date. The only issue I ran into with my new Netgear that seems to be across devices. This is where you have setup your router and set the admin password, then add a USB device to share. The USB device is not accessible, until you change the password for the Admin once more after its attached. Then everything works great. Also to use the USB you do not need SMB v1. Which is great news. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to family and friends

Wow, I didn't realize how much faster our internet and streaming could be. The X6S steams multiple devices seamlessly and at speeds with no buffering. Love this router, it was worth the buy.

Great product for mid sized homes with standard walls. Performance is great for most homes without the need of an extender. I love these for fairly open office spaces also.

I have only had this 3 weeks but it is incredibly fast and dependable. I have a 2 story house and no trouble with getting a signal anywhere in the house. I highly recommend this router

Very fast. Easy to set up and with the night hawk app you can control it from your phone. Stop people from unauthorized use and also see all other devices connected

All I can say is this router is excellent. Very easy to set up and use. I currently have 25 devices connected and it is still blazing fast, 1 device is even streaming 4k movies and is streaming flawlessly!!

Bought this router to replace the Apple airport I used for many many years. It was easy to install, came with an app for my phone to control. I now have more coverage and fast internet. Great all around!

Easy install and strong signal 3900sqft. Zero issues with keeping up with simultaneous streaming, gaming on many devices.

Bought this to replace my aging Asus router. Easy setup and user friendly app with lots of features. Overall it was Expensive Compared to others that I priced but it works great.

Outstanding wifi speed jumped from 46 mb to 357 mb with streaming and PS4 7-10 devices in multi level home! Comcast cable. Great router so far. Very happy with upgrade.

I live in a very solid 100+ year old farm house with oak framing and plaster walls over plaster. My previous router was just not powerful enough to get a strong signal throughout the house. And with 7 or 8 devices all competing for wi-fi it could really get bogged down. The Nighthawk X6 delivers excellent signals throughout and the speed has noticeably improved on the older devices. Installation of the router was a cinch, and every device hooked up right away. zI'm very happy with it.

Easy setup. Works well and has built-in Armor security for internet protection. Great signal up to 95ft which covers my front and back yard and the shop near the house.

Good quality upgrade for an older Netgear model. Faster since it incudes 802.11-ac as well as N. It also appears to cover a larger area higher speeds with all antennas extended.

I mainly purchased this because of the range it offered and because of the potential to future proof myself when I elect to get a higher download speed from my ISP. I must say, this has not disappointed so far. I have my router and modem on the second floor of my medium sized house and I am getting a solid connection in my backyard and in my basement. I have had a few people tell me that I screwed myself for having my devices on the second floor, but I knew that if I opted for a better modem I would avoid having to extenders or other devices to increase range and I would not have to move my devices at all. Great purchase that delivers.

I purchased this mighty router a few years back and never had a problem. Fast internet, no lag streaming nor gaming. Excellent brand and product.
