Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Orbi 650 Series AX3000 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System's ease of use, extensive coverage, and generally simple setup process as significant advantages. Many appreciate the improved range and signal strength, resulting in better performance, particularly in larger homes or areas with connectivity challenges. However, some users experienced connection issues and occasional firmware problems. While the system is praised for its performance and security features, the price point is a factor for some customers.

Do not buy! Netgear sells 650 router with “compatible” 350 satellites. This is a NETGEAR SCAM. Everything gets fried when a new firmware goes up and you are required to call for troubleshooting, of course they want you to pay $99 for their “troubleshooting”. Spend your money on a different system.

Trash router firmware doesn’t match satellites making it not able to work properly. Why are you even selling this product if they don’t even make firmware that matches for it

    Nightmare From Purchase to Return

I was so excited to rinally upgrade my router after having the same one for 6+ years. I was trying to decide between this and something comprable to it, and after reading all the reviews, I decided to go with this. To start, the packaging is atrocious. The box is flimsy and opens in all kinds of weird ways, you open the smaller package that contains the cables and they all kind of just spring out on you like it’s some kind of booby trap. But whatever, it’s just packaging. Going onto the quality of these things, the plastic is so cheap and thin that whatever light is supposed to be shining from the arch at the bottom, bleeds through different parts of the plastic and makes them look even cheaper. That being said, I still try to stay postive and go on to setting them up, thinking that they might look cheap but I’ll still get a solid signal througout my house. Trying to set them up, the app is fairly intuitive but for some reason it would keep telling me that my router wasn’t connected to internet. Checked all my cables, rebooted my modem (that was working just fine 5 minutes prior with my 6+ year old router), etc. and still nothing. I reset the router and try again, and same thing. Decided to call Spectrum, they checked that everything was fine on their end, and said that the router should connect automatically in it’s DHCP configuration. Alright, tried to call Orbi/Netgear customer service and wasn’t even able to get ahold of a human. So I tried the whole process at least 5-6 times more, and still nothing. Almost every time I would try to go through setup, the app would take me to different screens and make me do things differently which I found a bit odd. You would think the setup process would be consistent. Nevertheless, these are very cheaply made and quite honestly useless. Returned them after wasting hours trying to set them up and bought a comperable set by Linksys. The setup process was far more intuitive, and I was actually able to get Wi-Fi again. Please don’t waste your time on these. You can find others for a similar price that are better quality and actually let you make it past the welcome screen on the app.

Not happy with the mesh feature. Too difficult to roam and it does not do it seamlessly. The satellites do not work well and devices are connecting to the router instead of the sattelites

Really BAD product. First, the router is rbr750 which is coupled with the inferior rbs350 satellites (to reduce costs) The range was awful and the worst part is that the satellites ability to hang on to a steady connection (the daisy chain kept breaking the satellite connections and dropping the wifi signal). Tech support would not replace after hours of being on the phone. Stay away!

Did a good job but ended up returning for better deal. Antennas needed to be closer together and was not as powerful as their next upgrade. For the money, it is worth to upgrade.

I have never spent so much money on a WiFi router and been so disappointed in my life. My WiFi is NOT reliable. It was way more reliable with my outdated Nighthawk router. If I could return this system I would! My WiFi drops nonstop. If I’m facing the wrong direction standing next to a satellite….the WiFi drops! My old WiFi router NEVER did this and my signal went further!

Very disappointed; First the app kept crashing on my iPhone 13’ Second the devices sitting right by satellite would not connect ,but connect across to other side of house to router which cause weaker signal; some of the devices did connect to satellite that was close ,but most go pass it to router on other side of house; but it does have good speed
