Customers are saying
Customers recognize the Orbi 650 Series AX3000 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System's ease of use, extensive coverage, and generally simple setup process as significant advantages. Many appreciate the improved range and signal strength, resulting in better performance, particularly in larger homes or areas with connectivity challenges. However, some users experienced connection issues and occasional firmware problems. While the system is praised for its performance and security features, the price point is a factor for some customers.

BEST Wifi Signal we have ever had
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We live in a 102-year-old bungalow, with walls of seasoned wood, actual vent stacks of cast iron, etc. Our wifi dropped from front to back. No matter what I used, extenders, etc., and even with fiber at 1G signal still dropped. Got my Orbi in place and bam! No more dropping signals. Everything is fast and we can use multiple tvs, etc., with no buffering. FINALLY! Getting fast speeds, like I am paying for.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked right lout of the box. Extenders either connected to the router or to the nearest extender. Howerver, after 2 hours of being installed, it blocked all connections in the factory default setup. After calling tech support, it was easily resolved by unchecking the block all connections.

Much better than linksys
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my linksys nodes with the Orbi setup awhile ago. The setup and dependability of the Orbi system is 10 times better than the linksys. My reason for updating was because the old system wouldn't stay connected more that a week at a time, over a 3 year period. I finally got fed up with the old stuff. I am now covering a larger area with 3 nodes as opposed to 6 with the linksys.

Great Wifi coverage and speeds
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded my older Orbi Mesh system to this system, and I immediately noticed improved speed and coverage. I have a 2 story home, and while the older RB40 system worked fine, this has been a worthy upgrade. I was able to use a few of the add on components (Orbi Voice) from the older system even though they aren't listed as compatible, so that was an unexpected bonus.

Just buy it!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're already looking at this item you know what you need it for. Just buy it! We live in a two story home and built a room more than 100 feet from where our router is and these product just works. This is the second purchase since we needed an upgrade to have a third Orbi to help the signal and it just does what its supposed to do. 100% recommended and super easy to set up.

Mesh router
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Orbi AX3000 mesh router system was very simple and seamless to install. This coupled with a Netgear Nighthawk cm2000 is a strong combination. A 1 gig internet connection from Xfinity provides 982MBs download out of the satellite located upstairs on the other side of the house. This mesh router system way outperforms our old modem/router combo unit.

Solid Performance Initially, But Long-Term Reliabi
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially had a great experience with the Orbi AX3000 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 system. The setup was straightforward, and the coverage throughout my house with one router and two satellites was excellent for over a year. However, things took a turn for the worse after about 1.5 years of use. After a power outage coincided with a firmware update, both satellites became completely unresponsive. I’ve tried everything to resolve the issue, including multiple factory resets on both the router and satellites, but the satellites no longer show up in the admin portal or can be manually added back. They seem to be completely bricked—flashing white, then solid magenta, and refusing to connect no matter what. The router itself works fine, but without the satellites, I’m losing the full benefits of the system. I’ve followed NETGEAR’s instructions to upload firmware via TFTP, which completed successfully, but the problem persists. This has been extremely frustrating, especially considering the system is now out of warranty and NETGEAR only offers paid support at this point. For a product at this price point, you’d expect better long-term reliability. Thankfully, I have a networking background, which helped me troubleshoot the issue to some extent, but I can only imagine how confusing and frustrating this would be for someone less tech-savvy. In summary, the system worked wonderfully until it didn’t, and it’s been a huge disappointment ever since the satellites stopped functioning. If you’re considering this product, be aware that long-term reliability may be an issue, and post-warranty support will cost you. At this point, I am considering other options for future mesh systems.

Very Fast !
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I swapped out my Google Nest as I was having weak connection issues between points and very slow internet at devices. 20 minutes to install the new Netgear Orbi - and all my issues were gone. Excellent connection between points, and my device internet speed is equal to my router - internet speed. Wish I had gone with the Netgear in the 1st place.

Easy mesh network with built in protection
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Major improvement in performance over the original Orbi. Speed in my house improved 500% without changing the modem or service. The device also has a security program that has already prevented malicious attacks on our devices and networks.

You’re sleeping on this…
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best mesh Wi-Fi system I have purchased. No loss of signal whatsoever. I have 4 smart tvs, 3 streaming devices and about 7 phones that use Wi-Fi and I have no problem streaming from each device. No traffic or buffering. Halfway down the street and I get connection. Also, very easy to set up. The Orbi app is also very useful for tracking and managing your devices. I would definitely recommend.

Way beyond expectations
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The easiest setup/experience I’ve ever had with a router. Can’t beat the 4 year protection replacement for only $70 extra on an expensive purchase like this. No issues with Wi-Fi either yet and has excellent coverage. I game a lot and my router is in a different room. Being able to connect my devices to one of the satellites directly makes my connection flawless as the satellites use their own dedicated bands to connect to the router. Highly recommend this product

not bad for the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.covers the house relatively well, but if it has to go through too many walls, there seems to be an issue. For example, the one satellite is hardwired in our bedroom, but if you go into our master closet, you lose connection.

Best one for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Orbi wifi6 AX4200 RBK753 which is easily installed just follow the app instructions. It will even help you place your nodes into a more efficient place to get better reception. My home was built in 1920 and has lost of plaster, metal, brick. Even get reception to the detached garage 60 ft. Away from the last node. Works great for me. Bought it on sale.

Orbi #2
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for a second location because the first one I purchased about 7 years ago worked so great. This one here is better than the first one I purchased. This item will extend your Wifi connection throughout your home, even if your house is over 4,000 SQ FT, this will allow you to enjoy gaming or whatever internet connection you need. Amazing product. The customer service is great as well if you have issues connecting it.
