bought 2 satellites on top of the 3 in box system for a total of 5 and everything works as describes. satellites are easy to add to the system.

Stopped working after a year. Orbi does not offer any product support at this time. I wish I'd never purchased an Orbi product.

I guess it is good, have not been able to get it to work with ATT system. Probably just operator error, my guru, operating from a distance is trying to help.

went to the store on secor road in toledo ohio, showed them the orbi system i have now and sold me a satellite that would not sync with my system.

Despite using repeatedly every strategy described in Netgear directions and in Netgear online forums, I could not get this new satellite to connect to my existing-and well-functioning- Orbi network.

Netgear has a great reputation and this product was rated very good. However, the setup process, while meant to be idiot-proof, assumes that you will set it up accepting all defaults and NEVER change anything. The mobile app keeps telling me that it can't find my router, despite being connected to it and being able to search the internet. All of the troubleshooting hints lead back to the same thing. Unplug the router and do a factory reset. All other options fail. Also, on the mobile app, error messages pop up on top of what you are supposed to be able to read, therefore completely obstruct any chance of doing anything that the error message recommends you do. If you try to log on to the web control panel, it fails as well. Logging on to 192.168.1.1 fails no matter what your VPN / firewall status. The ONLY option is to do a factory reset for any problem. Apparently, the people who designed this interface did not experience any problems in "testing".

Orbi works great. It replaced an existing 4 antenna Netgear router that is giving us trouble at work. Orbi was unboxed, configured and up and running in 10-15 minutes. Good range with base unit and second unit extends the range even farther. Very happy with our Orbi even though it’s not the latest model.
