Customers are saying

Customers express satisfaction with the Orbi 750 Series' ease of use, extensive coverage, and strong signal, frequently citing improvements in range and performance. However, some users mention the system's high price and occasional connectivity issues, while others note that the app could be improved. The size of the units was also a point of feedback from some customers.

Great product have even wi-fi throughout my house and outside. I have a 2000 square foot ranch style house and my wi-fi is pegged out in every room and 200 feet outside. I would definitely recommend this product for a large house.i had the geek squad come out and hook everything up and they did a great job.

This product is the best middle of the road system. It’s easy to set up for people who don’t know much about technology. Basically plug and play. Plus the NETGEAR support system is always there with the right answers easily explained.

Best thing I have bought for networking. I work for a telecommunications company and even though we have good equipment I needed something better and this was it. Setup was extremely simple and I have yet to have any problems with them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I was recommended the Orbi system by my brother in law and so far they have worked great connecting WiFi from the house all the way to the backyard. Set up wasn’t too bad following the instructions on the app after that they’ve taken care of themselves.

one amazing thing about these that I don't see anywhere else is how well they work between two detached houses. We have a guest house in our backyard, installed the main one in the house and the other one in the guest house. Worked well. Thanks to the Best Buy salesperson who helped me select the right one.

Problems during install necessitated a hard reset and start again. Was not able to get it working. Had a Best Buy tech come out - very friendly and helpful and we thought we found and fixed the problem. Two days later, it failed again. This time two calls to Netgear tech support and another hard reset and (hopefully) it's now good. If it keeps working, I think I'm going to be very pleased with it. I always use Netgear and generally pleased with them. Their support is patchy - two techs and one knew what he was doing. It's possible that installing it on a computer might have avoided the problems, both the Best Buy tech and the Netgear support agent had me use the computer to "fix" it, Netgear need to get their heads out of their rear ends and stop more-or-less forcing the install to be done on a phone, it's clearly not the right tool for the job. This may turn out to be a great product, speed and performance is very good and it's been running without problems for about eight hours now, so we'll see.

My house is over 4K square feet and we had the 2 satellites package and although it improved our speed, when we upgraded to the 3 satellite system we're getting over 900 mbps from our wifi which is outstanding. I highly recommend this system.

Out of the box, it just worked. I am getting full bandwidth capabilities from this system across 3 stories of my home. The internet comes into the basement which was the best place to put it, but that made for horrible reception on the second floor. Orbi to the rescue.

Before I had this installed I was having lag and drop off issues with my current router due to the constant addition of WIFI components through the house. All of those issues have dissipated and we can now get WIFI signals when were sitting outside by the pool

This system was easy to install and provides great coverage. Cox told me I would likely need a wire mesh network for my property but this wireless system provides strong coverage across multiple buildings.

Bought two satellites, cheaper upfront cost, I hear it tskes awhile to have too many. The speeds are great, the fact that you can run two dsl cables off each satellite, onky makes it more usefull. For what we need it for, it meshes well with everything so far, including iot

Love this mesh system! Set was took sometime but once everything was set up everything worked great no more dead spots in the house! Replace an older orbi set up we had in the house which worked great but didn’t have the coverage we get now.

I bought these with hopes they would give good coverage and good performance across the 2 stories and the basement of my house. Unfortunately, my hopes did not pan out. Setup for this was a bit of a pain. I set it up via the mobile app, and during the setup process, renamed the SSID (which was an option given in setup). After I did that, my phone wouldn't connect again and left the router in a totally weird, and unusable state (even with ethernet plugged in directly). I ended up having to reset all 3 of the units, and start over from scratch. This time, I didn't rename the SSID during setup and it finished successfully. I then renamed the SSID later, and that worked fine. Overall, setup was trickier than I would have hoped, and definitely more complicated than the other Netgear routers I had. I get it that there are 3 units to deal with, but it should never get into an unusable state like that. One drawback for me during setup was that it did not allow you to split your network by bands (e.g. 2Ghz vs 5Ghz). This was surprising since all other Netgear routers do this, and it made it a) impossible to segment the traffic of the IOT devices from the interactive devices, and b) made it impossible to set up some of my 2Ghz-only devices. Perhaps I could have disabled the 5Ghz radio during setup, but that would be a pain. As far as coverage goes, it was strong in all corners of my house, and I had full strength everywhere, which was great. And the throughput seemed decent overall bandwidth-wise. However, as soon as my household started using the network, I got complaints from everyone that it felt slow. My son, who plays multiplayer video games, said the ping time was very slow. My wife, who does office productivity work on her laptop (which was 5 feet away from the router) said it felt slow. I, who do lots of Zoom calls, felt it was ok, but it did feel like it wasn't running full strength either from what I was used to. Not terrible, but definitely sluggish. I rebooted all the units, but that didn't make any difference. For my house, I was 0/3 for some core usage, so I returned it after just a couple of days of usage. I am confident it wasn't just that I had something set up wrong, there definitely seemed to be an overall issue with these for my house. I ultimately replaced it with a Netgear Nighthawk RAXE500. Coverage in the corners of my house is a bit worse, but the speed is great, I got to split between 2Ghz and 5Ghz, and all of the latency issues are gone. Most of all, everyone is happy.
