Horrible!
I spent 4 hours of my time. Then 1 hour with orbi tech support including 30 minutes with spectrum cable. Brand new spectrum cable modem working perfectly. Could never get the $850 orbi router to connect to the internet. Tried everything 25 times. The most frustrating experience in a very long time. This product is not ready for public use. Stay clear.

Such a huge disappointment and failure. Worked for the first 5 weeks and then started experiencing random connection drops (dead internet) from 5 -25 minutes. It occurred multiple times in the day. Performed all the standard troubleshooting reboots, reset to factory settings, upgrading to all the latest updates but was unable to fix the issue. Called my ISP and got my modem reset/rebooted multiple times to ensure that it was not the ISP fault. I was able to confirm that it was not a modem/ISP issue. See below
I went back to my almost 5 year old RBR750 and everything is rock solid and stable. No issues. No connection drops at all.
It has been more than 30 days so Best Buy or Netgear will not accept my return. Biggest mistake to trust Netgear with such an expensive purchase. I want my money back.

I got this because i wanted to upgrade my speeds to wifi 7 and have stronger connections throughout my house. Coming from orbi 850 i was excited for it. My mistake… these are absolute junk and nothing but issues. Between random drops to apple tv remotes on my phone almost never connecting to random lag while gaming i decided to return. Ive now moved on to a different company since orbi isnt the same. Btw my orbi 850 never gave me any issues until they broke at the end. Im not sure what they did different in these new models but everyone should look elsewhere

Do not buy this system. I was sailing with our 6e system getting the 1,000 Mbps we are paying for. Then I set this one up, and our speeds went down to 5 Mbps. We have brand new Apple Products including the newest iPhones and iPads and my phone went from having 989 Mbps to 6. Called support, we tested the speed wired, it was only 650 Mbps we pay for Fiber, and they told me to take it back. They also told me to buy the 970 as the 770 is new and they only made it for those not wanting to spend the 2,500 on the other WiFi 7 system.
Luckily we are Total Tech Members so I now have to decide if I want a credit or I want to buy a beefier WiFi 6 system since this one is just not there. I am also contemplating buying the 970 but now have fear I will wind up in the same stimulation. Bottom line, do not buy this system.

This has been the most horrible product I’ve ever owned. It has not worked properly since I purchased it and NetGear has been absolutely useless with Tech Support. Will not honor warranty. Even trying to say it’s a second hand purchase despite me having the Best Buy receipt. NIGHTMARE!!

Perfect upgrade to my old rbk763 wifi 6 system. This has better signal range and faster speeds. I have a modem that supports 2.5gb ports so I needed a wifi network that has one as well to see the full speeds I am paying for. With 2gb service I see those speeds now wireless. My previous system with only 1gb port I was limited to just under that that so I never got the see my full speeds. This system has been very reliable and connects to many devices old and new.

Super weak at coverage, even when spaced correctly it underperforms considerably to earlier models and versions. Experienced LAN drops until the latest firmware update, also experienced and continue wifi drops. No changes to web or app interface, but am unsure why Netgear hasn't fixed the signal issues. Will probably return after Christmas as their customer support has been extremely difficult to navigate for most users and the delay in fixes is perplexing for the amount of money this costs. I have 2700 sq feet to cover and it claims 8000 feet. Lots of dead spots and drops even by the router and satellites, similar to what others are experiencing. Netgear has really lost a step with these new upgrades, whole lotta price, not much on performance delivery. Will have to look elsewhere for a better mesh system for my home.

These are pretty bad, got it for a larger house, about 15 years old. It has some decent speeds, a bit faster than Wifi 6 over wifi... however I would get consistent packetloss like every 20-30 minutes while playing a game. The coverage and power through walls and over long distance is very poor. Definitely not worth the money you pay for these, Eero pro maxs7s do better.

The Orbi WiFi is excellent! We cover our entire 3000sq ft house with the two or Orbi setup. It provides full coverage, powers over 20 devices and has no delay or loss of strength regardless of location. Setup was easy and fast!

This was a replacement of an older Netgear router which worked well but had limitations. I always had connectivity issues on the far end of the house. Adding a mesh system eliminated all of the dead spots! Adding wifi 6 and 7 increases the wireless access speeds on the devices that support it. Connectivity issues have disappeared - I should have upgraded a long time ago!
Installation was pretty straightforward. It has an app for most of the configuration but being an IT guy for the past 20 years I like the web interface that allows you to configure just about anything.
