Best Router Ever

The one thing you don’t go cheap on is a router. Always get the best and this thing is the best. I have the 400mbps package from Spectrum but I consistently am clocking 456mbps ever since I got this router. Not so with my previous ASUS rt ac68u. Very happy with this product.

Worth every penny!

As most people know, Playstations wifi card is terrible. Having one of these upstairs for my Playstation allows me to use a Lan line for gaming. Also took out all wifi deadspots upstairs. I have the other one downstairs and now the wifi goes into my front and backyard. So glad I made this purchase.

hype machine....performance meh

When it works, it is good, when it doesn't it is a pain to troubleshoot. Parental app and bitdefender security are meh....overall feels like a lot of hype for not a ton of value

Expensive, but does perform great

Yes it's expensive, but the bandwidth and house coverage have been great. It's much better than those cable modem and router combos. I plugged my laptop into one of the satellites and the speed test still came very close to the bandwidth of the router itself. The only drawback is that these aren't the smallest pieces of wifi gear for the house.

Great Performance

Installation is router connected to Frontier FIOS router with WI FI disabled, and the satellite is installed 95 feet away from router unit. Great performance. At the satellite (95 feet away in a shed), I am getting 300 download speed with 500 provided by Frontier. This is triple what I was getting with three unit EERO. Unit is running in AP mode. Cannot complain.

Works when internet is available

The free antivirus that is provided fir 30 days did catch some threats to our network. If and when I get my ISP to fix my ISP issues the I might purchase another satellite for an area in my home that the internet has instability .

Unfortunate disappointment

I had to put my Orbi RBK50 back (Thankfully I still had it it) Absolutely unstable and a true shame for a product that's over $600 after taxes. The problem appears to be going on for months without any resolution or acknowledgement from the manufacturer. I really was expecting a truly superior product after being a proud Orbi RBK50 for many years. Seriously Netgear? Not in a million years I'm gonna be spending $1500 on your upcoming Wi-Fi6E products you have ready for preorder at the time of this review. The only reason it gets 3 stars is because the connection when it works is great and the hardware is solid, other than that epic failure for me as a customer. Hopefully the correct this soon through a firmware upgrade, but after months of waiting for it, I just gave up on it for.

Not Worth the Money

My experience doesn't support this marketing hype. I purchased this system a month ago and I've had nothing but problems. The communications between the routers and satellites break down and then devices connect to the router at very slow speed. Not worth the money. I have spent about 20 hours on the phone with "support" and it has been a complete waste of time.
