I have replaced my netgear x10 nighthawk router with this orbi mesh system and i receive full blast signal every corner of my house ( 2000 sqft) .. Happy and I recommend this router ..it is not cheap but you will use for years until next generation wifi comes up ..

Firmware auto updates are a disaster

When they release a firmware update you can have a nightmare on your hands quickly doing resets and re-syncing to get back up and running. The system automatically applies (with no ability to turn off) firmware updates and with this last release many have spent hours doing factory resets and re-syncing satellites. Version V4.6.3.16_2.0.51 has dropped connections, inability to connect, speeds dropping to a crawl, and constant satellite reboots out of the blue. Netgear has gone silent and nobody knows when a fix is coming. Some in the forums are saying Netgear has admitted they don't know how to fix the issue. Out of frustration many are jumping ship to other brands. Just be aware.

fast, easy, good wifi coverage

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.very easy to install, good wifi coverage; i need more satellites though. 2x6 interior and exterior walls, extra thick sheetrock, plaster over that, along with a massive central brick fireplace extending from the basement through the second floor make for challenges in wifi coverage!! i'm confident with an additional satellite or two that my wifi problems are finally solved!

High performing Wifi.

At its best it provides unparalleled bandwidth throughout the house. But, it isn't as stable as some other mesh routers on the market in my very contested neighborhood airspace. Ended up sticking with something a little less performing but a little more stable.
