Although the Orbi is expensive, i couldn't be more impressed by the coverage and the speeds I'm getting (finally seeing gigabit speed). The app is also easy to use and offers some impressive security features. This is a subscription based service, but it's been completely worth it as it allows me to secure multiple devices and alerts me whenever it blocks an intrusion attempt.

I live in at home which is about 6000 ft. I have an upstairs and a full-size basement which were dead spot. But with this router it has solve my dead spot problems. And I also enjoy bit defender that helps protect all of my electronic Devices. It is very easy to set up and also I like the features that you can control it by your Phone or pad I highly recommend this router to solve all your problems. It’s Awesome.

Setup is simple. related netegear app is simple to use, offers alot of control and security. I like that I can control internet to specific devices and also review network analytics. With all these options you'd think its only for experts, but this system is very easy to use for basic users. Internet speeds are super fast and the coverage is awesome. I can get halfway down my street before coverage drops off.

I had originally purchased the 2-pack Orbi AX6000 back in the fall of 2019 on launch day. Back then, I had given the Orbi AX6000 1-star review. I wish Best Buy would let me edit that, but they won't. So here I am 6 months late and writing a review on the 3-pack Orbi AX6000. I am SOOO happy Netgear came out with a 3-pack. While this is SUPER expensive, and the most I've ever spent on a router setup, my house is 2,700 sq. feet. Not very big, but it's so odd shapped, and a 2-pack didn't cut it. I know have the router down the hall in the office, 1 satellite outside on my patio (wrapped in a clear bag), and 1 router up in the loft. All 3 units are hardwired with gigabit Internet (1,000Mbps up/down.) I FINALLY get 5 bars of wifi service throughout the entire house. I have the iPhone XS Max (wifi 5 device) and I pretty much get between 300Mbps - 550Mbps no matter what room I'm in. I can't wait to get a wifi 6 device! I was nervous that the new Orbi doesn't allow you to split up 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz networks (the old Orbi allowed it if you hacked your way into the router and changed the settings.) However, I must say my devices are doing an excellent job of connecting to 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz as intended. My iPhone and laptops have always stayed on the 5Ghz band. Meanwhile, my Nvidia Shields are hardwired, so I don't need to worry about that. Which leads into my next point. As I move around the house, my devices do an excellent job of connecting to the closest Netgear Orbi device! Keep in mind, this really is up to the device to pick the "best" unit to connect to, so this can't really be blamed on the Orbi if your devices are holding onto a weak connection. However, my devices (iPhones and Windows laptops with Intel wifi chips) do an excellent job of connecting to the best/closet Orbi device. I'm very please. I can go from the patio, and then up to my loft, and my devices will switch over to the Orbi Satellite in the loft and get around 500 Mbps download speed. Final thougt: If you read my harsh review on the 2-pack Best Buy review, please disregard that. It was written only a few days after the product was launched. The product has made MUCH improvements after only 6 months, and I am definitely keeping this as my main router setup in this house. The premium price is worth it to me to get 300 - 500Mbps speed throughout my entire house on wifi 5 devices. I can't wait to see what wifi 6 devices get in my house setup!

I purchased this network weeks ago and we get outstanding coverage. Our internet has never worked better. This is in spite of having about 30 devices going at the same time many streaming zoom and TV at the same time. I carried through the whole house and most of the backyard. I would definitely recommend it!

Fast and easy setup. Download the app, plug in one yellow cable to modem and three power bricks, and that is literally it. iPhone next to first floor router now 916 Mbps. iPhone next to second floor satellite now 768 Mbps. That’s about triple what I was pulling from Google AC1200. It’s only been operating for a couple hours so no read yet on reliability but so far so good.

I have a 2300 sq ft home and replaced the first gen Google Mesh with this system. The main unit upstairs and the satellite downstairs. The coverage, reliability, and speed far surpass the old setup. It was very easy to set up with a mobile app as well.

I have been a computer network engineer for over 40 years. This new mesh system is simple to set up and it provides awesome network signal throughout my large home. I have connected two devices into the Orbi satellite and they both are using the dedicated wireless backhaul to the main router. With this setup my upstair devices are getting near wired connected speeds, yet they are using the wireless backhaul path. These devices we’re getting around 120 mbps while using wireless SSID network and single Spectrum Wi-Fi router, I am now getting 750-950mbps using the wireless Orbi mesh router with one satellite.

I am extremely happy with this new Mesh WiFi network! It was a little more than I wanted to go on price, but I'm glad I did! I haven't had one problem with devices dropping or my music with the wifi since I got this system. Excellent product. Even my internet speed is faster now because it doesn't have to kick off devices for everything to work. Highly recommend this latest WiFi 6 unit!

These bad boy orbi's are on all three levels of my home and provide fast wifi. It reaches deadzones my previous nighthawks couldn't reach. Very pleased. I love the app too. Parental controls to lockdown my monster children from continuous electronics that turn them into zombies. The app can charge a premium for other services.

Purchased the Orbi AX6000 Tri-band Mesh WiFi 6 system. The speed is wonderful and connects my 20+ wifi dependent devices seamlessly. Signal strength improved two fold from my internet provider's Arris system. The Orbi mesh is pricey but shouldn't need to update this system for years to come.

Worth every penny, and then some. This system is light years and hundreds of “megabits” beyond the Nighthawk X6 I’ve used for years. I kept blaming Comcast for my signal loss and frequent slow speeds throughout the day. But when Checked the speed at my hard, Ethernet-wired computer (direct link to modem, not WiFi) the speed blew past 500 mbps every time. My Wi-Fi router, on the other hand, bounced wildly between 25 and 200 mbps and dropped to zero frequently through the day. After installing the Netgear Orbi, however, any where I go in my large, long house or yard, my Wi-Fi signal speed is consistently 500+ mbps.l!! I am simply blown away. That’s the excellent news! The “most excellent” info is EXTREMELY EASY SETUP! And, if you name the system the same name as the system you’re replacing (the Wi-Fi connection you use select on your phone or other devices to connect to Wi-Fi at home) you won’t need to reconnect all those devices. They will never know there was a change. I seldom write reviews, but I’m jumping up and down on my chair and applauding this tech. It isn’t cheap, but it was a price well worth paying to be rid of a persistently annoying headache. So happy. Highly recommend!!!

Works Great! I bought this to compliment my Starlink service and so far it has been great! It has given our house the needed coverage to keep a connection anywhere and even covers outside of the home. Setup was super easy via the netgear app and only took a couple of minutes

Great system to maximize fiber speed internet over a large space. This system is really only worth the price if you have high speed internet. Unless you are pulling speeds in excess of 300mbps, there are other reliable systems for you. If you have high speeds, this system works beautifully. I get a signal all over my 3 story house and throughout the entire yard. The signal is strong, consistent, can handle numerous streaming devices simultaneously, and has some good security features. To make it even better, set up takes about 15-20 minutes for a 3 unit system.

The best mesh router on the market. I get WiFi speeds over 940 mbps upstairs not even close to the main satellite router. A little pricey but I do believe you get what you pay for. Family of 5 using all types of devices with tons of smart home products and they all work great with the reliable WiFi. Worth the money.
