Great Coverage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Several years ago I had the original Orbi and it was not reliable in a wide single level home with 2 satellites. This version is absolutely killer for a plug and play solution. We have multiple devices spread across a large single level space and have had no problems with WiFi speed and reliability. Expensive but worth it.

Well worth the cost
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well worth every penny, bought this to replace an older Orbi (AC2200) out performs older system hands down. Speed tests on a 1g system with 100 up and constantly pull 930-940 down and 113 up every time. Overkill for my home size but still worth it!

Orbi AX6000
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this system to provide a strong signal for multiple computers, eight Alexa, two TVs and three printers spread out in a 3100 square foot house. Works better than expected. In addition twe now are able to take our laptops out to any place in the yard and get at least 280 MBPS. Set up was breeze. Highly recommend the Orbi system.

Orbi AX6000 works when others would not.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Netgear Orbi system worked in my building when other mesh systems could not. Been using successfully for over a month now, with a heavy upload and download requirement, and the Netgear Orbi AS6000 does the job!

Router and Satellites are Awesome!!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome product! This boosted my current internet with Spectrum up to the 1 Gig that we are paying. It was expensive but definitely worth it! The setup is very simple. Literally just plug in and go.

Good range, incredible speed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll start with some basic facts about my environment: House size: 2500 sq ft. 2 story Internet speed from ISP: 400 MB/s download Original setup: Spectrum wireless router downstairs, Netgear AC1750 upstairs setup as an access point hard wired with cat 5e to the downstairs wireless router. The above original setup was actually working rather well however due to several internet outages I was assuming that I was beginning to hit a device limit or that my cat 5e ethernet wire had gone bad as it was run outside and was over 10 years old. (It turned out my internet issues were actually caused by a frayed coaxial cable that Spectrum was unable to identify for 2 months.) My first attempt at an upgrade was the Linksys Velop MX8000 system. This system couldn't outperform what I already had, and could barely achieve speeds over 300MB/s. I then decided to go with the Netgear Orbi system. Setup was pretty straight forward and I was up in running in 30 minutes or so. I have a 2 node system with the primary node downstairs and the satellite node upstairs. Initially I used the 5Ghz backchannel for the connection and I could get 230+ MB/s upstairs with this method. Honestly that was pretty impressive considering the Linksys velop could only get 50MB/s in the same setup (upstairs). I ended up running a new Cat 6 ethernet wire to connect the 2 and I am able to get over 400 MB/s from pretty much anywhere in the house. This is by far the fastest system I have used and did beat my original setup by over 100MB/s. The range is great and I can still sit out by the pool and work with no issues whatsoever. The extra security provided by Netgear does work and actually caught some Malware that a guest had run across while they were visiting. You do have to pay after the initial trial but for the first year they give you a deal for $40. CONS: The only reason I don't give this a full 5 stars is the fact that it is supposed to be able to handle more then 100 devices and I don't feel like it can. I recently had a houseful of company and everybody had multiple devices connected--according to the Orbi app there were close to 50. My Samsung S21 Ultra started getting kicked off as well as my brother-in-laws apple phone. After everybody left I rebooted and removed the devices that were no longer in use using the Orbi app and I haven't had a problem since. I normally have less then 20 devices connected at one time however.

4/5 difficult setup but performance is worth it
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I tried the eero pro wireless mesh system first. It was easy to setup but the performance was not as good as my previous Netgear triband AC router. To be honest it was a beast and was one of the best routers I have ever had. So Why switch? Bassically I kept reading the articles saying that wireless mess systems are better sio I thought I would try one. The Eero Pro had rave reviews but I don't think it was of the same caliber of wifi router that I was replacing. That became obvious when I tried to Zoom with it and half the time video was stuck and the audio was choppy. SO I returned it for the Netgear Orbi AX6000. The Eero was much easier to setup than the Orbi AX6000. It took me an hour to set up the Orbi because the directions in the app are less user friendly than Eero. Adding insult to injury the size of the Orbi Ax6000 is huge compared to the eero! Its about 2 feet tall and probably 1 foot wide. This made it awkward for the space I was trying to fit it into. Its so big in fact at one point the power plug to the Orbi had come out but we couldn' see it because it blocked our sight of the power strip[ because it was so big... Nonetheless when we did get it connected, we were able to easily rename the router and change the password to the old credentials and everything started working like a charm! The orbi app losses a star for clunky setup but it makes up for it in backend functionality. you can monitor users on your network, temporarily disabling some if necessary. you can check network speeds and at least 6 other primary functions or tweeks. the other bad part of Orbi AX6000 is the freaking price! Yikes! $700 u.s. plus taxes! The day after I purchased it it went on sale for the first time by $100 but still that is expensive! By comparison the Eero Pro 3 pack (compared to the Orbi AX6000 2 pack) cost $500 full retail. In my opinion, the extra $100 is worth the money because the Orbi is wireless AX, and it works better in practical application than the Eero Pro wireless AC system, if you have the extra money to spend.

Pricey but awesome
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's be honest, $1000 for a whole home mesh router system is ridiculous. However, despite the price tag, this mesh system is the best. We've got a weird shaped home and this eliminated dead zones that we did have and greatly improved the speeds at distance from the router and satellites. If you can afford it, it's worth it.

BEST ROUTER EVER
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was struggling with my internet provider’s modem/router combo. It couldn’t provide a stable connection with my devices and couldn’t provide a decent range. My smart home devices kept disconnecting and I was fed up. I found out I could use my own router and so I narrowed it down to this router or the new amplifi alien router. All the reviews said nothing compares to this mesh systems consistent speed and range. I went for it and I must say best router I have ever used. Setup was so simple via the orbi app. Literally took 5 minutes and the amount of range and speed surpassed my internet provider’s router and 2 extenders. It handles all 20 of my devices with ease. Not one network hiccup. I love this mesh system. Netgear really out did themselves with this one.

Worth the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Orbi WiFi system - RBK50 with a satellite and also a RBw30 satellite for the garage. It was great. Wanted WiFi 6, did not want to pay the price for the ax6000, so went with the Asus XT8 after many reviews. Was way faster (since WiFi 6) was so excited. Then started to see issues w/ security camera video not working, and light switches losing connection to the network. Just some serious instability in general. Purchased another node, but didn't help. Finally gave in after a couple of weeks and paid for the Orbi ax6000 (3 node version) and all the issues went away. Placed the nodes in the same spots as the XT8. Noticeably faster!!! Don't want headaches?... bite the bullet and get the AX6000. Setup was dead simple. Way easier than the previous Orbi where you had to push sync buttons and run all over the house to push the other buttons. This one was setup in 10 minutes. DO NOT like that they dropped Disney Circle built-in integration. So, got v2 of Circle and hooked it up separately :-(. It is what it is.

Wow!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice product, I am reaching areas of my property not just home that I thought were impossible. I tested my speed earlier from the kids bus stop that’s about 75 yards away and getting 450mbs download on a 400mbs plan. It’s pricey but worth it if you don’t want to worry about speed and coverage.

Not worth the $700
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this and couldn't justify the cost. Coming from a Nighthawk R7000P. We recently moved into a 5k sq ft house and thought this would be nice. Setup was extremely easy! Current setup; 3 smart TVs, 4 iPhones/ipads, 3 CPUs, 1 PS4, 2 people working from home, Speeds are impressive, getting roughly 350mbps throughout the entire house. It's just not needed IMO. Hard to justify the price of $700. Maybe down the road when Wifi 6 is more established in all our devices. Without staring at the speed test you'd have a hard time knowing we made any changes. The nighthawk is handling the increase in sqft without any issues to justify paying a significant increase for this product.

Orbi easily replaced old Netgear Nighthawk modem
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This distributed system was very easy to set up. I replaced a Netgear Nighthawk modem that had a weak signal to my sprinkler system on the other side of my house. I named the new Netgear Orbi system the same name and all of my devices were recognized! No additional set up was required. The sprinkler system now has a strong signal and everything works perfectly. It was a great investment.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Getting better with age ! When first started using I would get random disconnects and lost devices. Can't explain why but keeps getting more consistent with time (for the better). Has become very reliable. Speeds put my old WIFI 5 system to shame! Got mine now get yours!

Orbi OVER the Erro
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recommend the Orbi over the Erro if you have a 4K sqft or to 5K sqft house. Especially if you have a large patio cover and more than one building. This still has desktop access so you can change your 2.4ghz and 5ghz wi-fi to link your devices before turning on the dual band again. I went through the ERRO and it was horrible customer service over a 2-hour wait to just do what their handheld app should do. They took away the desktop router access and it was a complete mess ( the ERRO).

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product with an easy setup. Replaced an aging nighthawk with this mesh system and it is night and day. I get our full internet speed thought the entire house and even get partial speed when over at the neighbors.
