This would be a 5 star review easily if it wasn’t for all the upselling that is done after the product is all set up. It’s tacky to sell something on the high end, and then try to make even more thereafter. Consumers that can afford the high end stuff are paying for the full product. So it doesn’t need to be subsidized by additional sales through added services. What pushed me over the edge was I recently noticed notifications were not allowed for this app. I turned them on so I could get critical updates about my network. Instead, I wake up to one telling me to continue setting up my parental controls stuff (an added cost)… I’ll take my chances. Turning off notifications again. My point is this: make a great product that is justified by the high costs. Stand behind it. Be satisfied that since it’s a higher price-point, you’ll earn more profit. Don’t be greedy about it.

Our fiber internet finally runs at maximum speed and it’s more than expected. Excellent product!

Works seamlessly providing with Xfinity gigabit service. No dead spots now after installing this. Definitely recommend!

Installed the three pack in each floor and the speed is excellent. It also gives the capability to connect ethernet cable devices to the main node as well as the satellites. Setup took some time as it needs to be done through the app. It also can be managed through a full function we interface. Only concern is these does not come with the wall mount brackets. I had to shell out extra $15 each for the wall mounting brackets. Overall nice upgrade.

My internet provider did not inform me that my Echo Access port was no longer going to be supported. I lost connection with my security cameras. Arlo was installed and everything came back on. Love it.

Excellent range and seamless transitioning from one to another, but advanced features are lacking - for example, I use a Cisco ASA5525-x with Firepower Services (translation ... very expensive) firewall/vpn concentrator for my home. With Orbi, if you don't use the ORBI DEVICE ITSELF as the default gateway, a lot (most) of the features disappear and there really isn't any reason for that except lazy programming. They are extremely fast though and, for people with simple home networks, probably a remarkable product. For myself, being a network engineer (CCIE), I had to do a lot of hacks with my Arista ToR and aggr switches but finally got the Orbi's "believing" they were directly connected to the cable modem although it was just a lot of programming and network design sorcery. LOL Seriously, great product but please let us have a non-standard system and still get the majority of the feature set!

We were experiencing some Wifi issues with our old mesh system, so I decided to upgrade, because we live in a 4400 SF home that struggles with just the cable company router and modem. So picked up this Netgear system and its awesome. Streaming on TVs is no longer an issue and wifi is fast across the whole house. Highly recommend for bigger homes!

This is truly a great system. Fast and reliable. Installation with the Orbi app is quite simple. We went from being unable to load web pages on our driveway to being able to stream live TV all the way out to the street. We have a 3 level home and our modem is on the lower level. The Orbi WiFi eliminated all poor signal locations. The capacity and speed of this system will serve you well into the future. Definitely worth the investment.

The new orbi system works great. Had a few issues when first set up but I figured it out and now it's running great. The speeds are great with my new netgear nighthawk modem and it handles all the devices I have running at one time with no slow downs. It's an incredible router that provides high speeds with my Spectrum cable. Provides awesome speeds at your convenience and the app is very simple.

I upgraded my modem as I was having intermittent drops in speed, turns out my old ubiquiti UniFi system wasn’t able to connect with the new modem so it left me looking for a new wifi system. After a few hours of research, the Orbi was consistently near the top of wifi 6 mesh networks. The set up took a little bit longer than I was expecting but it’s possible i was just rushing through. Now that it’s up and running it’s great. I purchased the 2 pack and was a little nervous about the coverage but so far it’s been wonderful. I have a 3k sqft house with no dead spots so far. I have a few outdoor wireless cameras and it seems to reach those devices with no problem. I thought my 200mbps were fast but after upgrading the modem and mesh system I’m consistently around 600mbps now, I would recommend this product for sure!

Better than the previous system I had. It did have a problem one time the power went out losing the system connection, but sorted it out fast enough. range and speed is great, but it should be for the price.

Fast system all around. No drops or slowdown. Pricey. I would wait for a sale.

Out of the box, setup takes about 15mins depending on your existing WIFI, downloading the app, setting an account etc.. Once complete, I was getting about 350 up and down over the 150 up and down over the older Orbi WIFI I already had. If I had to stop there, 5 stars! Unfortunately, like I said, I have an older Orbi WIFI. I bought this set hoping I would be able to rest my existing Orbi WIFI and add them to this new bad mamajama. Unfortunately, I was unable to reset the existing setup using all of the online instructions. What made this 4 stars, is that it won't even find a gen 1 device that I know was definitely reset. That means, I need to purchase at least 2 satellites which will make my existing Orbi setup useless. I would go to another, but the internet is so much faster and the range is so much stronger that I can't see going to any other mesh setup.

Really a whole house WiFi system. Covers me with full WiFi upstairs, downstairs and outside. Absolutely no dead spots. You won’t go wrong with this system.

Would have been much easier to install if I had made a note of EXACTLY the existing network name. If you get it right, all devices will use the same network name/password without fuss. I had to go through them all and update. User error..... Orbi works great, much stronger coverage than prior antennae / extenders setup.

Was running into device cross talk lag (intra network) and inability to access full internet speeds through our last-generation Apple AirPort Extreme and Airport Express. Got these to future proof to gigabit capability. Happy with the ease of setup, coverage, speed and app. Had one issue with the speed test through the app that stopped working after initial setup. Router and satellite still worked. When trying to fix with a re-setup the router would not initiate properly again. I did a factory reset and ended up changing the network name and password from what it had been previously and it finally initiated properly. Once it was up and running I changed the network name and PW back to what we had before. Using the same network name and PW seemed to be causing the setup process to fail somehow. Our dozens of connected devices all have a solid connection to one another and the outside world now.

Awesome mess network almost no limit to connecting wireless device devices would highly recommend it. Orby is made by Netgear quality product. You get what you pay for.

Since we made the switch it’s so much better connection is super fast. Being able to create a guest password so you don’t have a million people connected to your device with no way of booting them off is a plus.

Quite expensive. But the overall range is really well. We have a multi level home with wifi dead zones. This ultimately helps with expanding our network. However there was a challenge setting up ring cameras and Samsung TVs with this device. A quick call to net gear support help resolve the issues
