Gig speeds through Wifi right here!

Holy WiFi Batman! These things work as advertised. I purchased this set to get internet from my house to my garage and then to my barn. They work flawlessly. I get gig speeds through my wifi even in my other buildings. I actually tried a few other brands and even different netgear models before deciding on these. I couldn't be happier. My only complaint is the interface looks 20 years old but you really never need to look at it. I highly recommend them.

Upgraded from a RBR50 with 3 satellites to RBR 850 with 2. Performance is significantly improved and coverage better with one less satellite. Replacement process was very quick since new router could be renamed and password set the same as the old system’s.

At nearly $1000 this router definitely felt like quite the stretch money-wise, but it’s simply fantastic. It’s unbelievable how fast WiFi speeds are now in the house. If you have a 2-story home save a couple hundred bucks and go with the 2-pack, but be sure to have a 3-pack for a 3 story home! I tried a 2-pack first, but exchanged it quickly for this one and now it’s perfect.

I've had this system for almost a month, in a 3-story home of 1800 sq ft/floor. Coverage is great - Apple TV connected to a satellite two floors below streams HD/4K video perfectly without a hiccup. Two kids on zoom school all day plus me on zoom meetings, with almost zero freezes. Also covers the front and back yards well. I also bought a wall mounting bracket direct from Netgear for $22 but haven't had a chance to put it up yet.

I have gig internet and a three level home. So far I am impressed, as this system seems to be a horse and covers my entire home like a champ. I use a gigabit switch for my hardwired connection (getting the full gig speed), but my wife uses one satellite in her home office, where there is no access to a hard line, and is getting a steady 700-900 Mbps directly connected to it. I've been getting 300-600 Mbps over WiFi, depending on the specific device, and even hit 700 Mbps occasionally. This system is expensive, but well worth it even if there isn't much out there to take advantage of WiFi 6 right now. Even with a lot of stuff wired in, my household still has a ton of devices utilizing WiFi and Orbi AX6000 has really met the demand.

Great upgrade from our old orbie system. Tripled our speeds over the old system. Only a couple down sides is the size of the unit's. They are quite large but they also have a lot of antennas, so theres that. The last downside, and the biggest is cost, but it's reliable so I'm happy. 4 stars due to cost

Excellent performance, but beware - parental controls require a subscription, and setup was challenging. I didn't do adequate research, and bought these based upon various online reviews that talked about the amazing throughput and low latency. These were accurate. But I also had a couple of deal breakers that ultimately lead to me returning these. First, the setup process using the Android Phone app simply didn't work at all. The app constantly told me that it couldn't find the WiFi router, despite the fact that I was sitting just a few feet away. This was resolved by using the same app on my iPad instead. Then, only upon fully setting the system up, did I come to discover that parental controls (namely the ability to turn off WiFi for certain devices on a set schedule) required a monthly subscription. Given that other offerings from competitors offer this same capability for free, I decided to return them and switch. So ... performance great, but setup was difficult and the "up charge" for common features meant these didn't meet my expectations (especially for the very high price).

    Beautiful when it works

Beautiful when it works. Super fast 900MBps on Fios Gig network. Comprehensively tested Eero Pro 6, Asus Zenwifi, and Eero 5 in over 50 locations around the house and yard - this was on average 200-300% faster than anything else and range is superb. Now the issues: 1) the connection drops out periodically or the router weirdly restarts without warning, 2) my router can see the satellites but nothing is being picked up by the satellites, so we’ve lost our mesh, 3) app is serviceable but clunky, 4) customer service has long wait times and not highly competent, and 5) you pay for customer service past 90 days. Eero customer service is amazing - short wait, competent, has lots of diagnostic tools, pleasant people, and will help with anything. I’m tempted to go back to Eero 6 Pro but will try my protection plan first to see if Best Buy or NetGear will fix the mesh issue

My house is 2200 square feet, connectinv took about 30 minutes after setting modem up, app was cery clean and using a 2 pack has made wifi faster and given more range, if you have a big home with multi floors I recommend the 3 pack.

Plug in and forget it. Our old wifi system was showing its age. Lots of drops when you move a device around, poor coverage in some areas. These are a lot bigger than i thought they would be, but a month in and zero problems. The entire house and yard is a high speed wifi zone.

Upgrade from Orbi AC3000 to Google WiFi 2nd Gen to Orbi AX6000. Finally, the lone dead zone from my house (happened to be the home office) is fixed. Not only does it fix the dead zone, the speed is much improved throughout the house with AT&T fiber. I agree this 3 pack is ridiculously expensive but if you want to fix any dead zones or if you have a big house with many home automation items, this set is the way to go. Highly recommended

I was previously using just a single wifi 6 router in my home which did have the increased speeds, but still did not reach certain areas in my house . I first purchased the 2 pack from another store and found out that I still just couldn't reach the back two rooms with consistency. I returned it as soon as I saw Best Buy had the 3 pack in stock and everything is works great. This resolved all my issues and I am finally satisfied.

Beast of a router, but app lacks some key features

I purchased this to replace my existing nest wifi set up. The nest did a great job with coverage, but still had a couple dead spots in some areas of the house. That's not an issue anymore after setting up the Orbi router. This thing is a beast. Fantastic speeds with zero dead spots(as far as I can tell). My only complaint would have to be the app and lack or parental controls. My nest wifi was simple, and I could set schedules for it to cut the internet off when it was bed time for the kids. Orbi allows you to cut off internet to devices, but you have to go through and select them individually. Then remember to turn them back on at a later time. Other than that this thing rocks. Awesome device to future proof your home.

Connection and setup were easy. I get the 1G speeds from this router that I did not get with my old Nighthawk router. I do not like the Orbi app or website controls. They do not give you enough options (No way that I have found to split 2.4 and 5G bands, they are both under the same SSID. I had then separate before and like being able to choose what ran on each band. The parental controls when set to teen do not allow for Paramount+ to play. I cannot figure out how to get this added without just turning off the parental controls. The parental controls need an easy way to add new things that are not there.

The unit really is "as advertised". That is it was easy and quick to set up; provides strong signal extension from the router to rooms at the opposite end of a 2300 sq foot apartment built (in 1929) with iron beams, and cinder-block walls; maintains a strong signal throughout the covered areas that allows movie streaming and hi-fi audio signals.
