It works as advertised better wifi network faster speeds helps with dead spots. Definitely extended where i can use wifi. But that price still not worth it. But if you can afford it. Luxury item. There are cheaper brands that do almost as good. If i could go back. Id go with a ASUS ZenWiFi AX6600 Tri-Band Mesh or something equivalent as price is 1/3 of what you would pay. IMO the size of these satellites are ridiculous. But the real factor is these devices will have no need to replace for years to come. And it significantly improved my connection to arlo ultra security cameras. That are posted around the outside of my house.

Expensive but it works exactly as described. Always had wifi dead spots in the house with other mesh systems this one we don't. They are big and hard to find places to hook them up, but they work well. Software is relatively easy to use. If I had a complaint it would be the constant sales the app trys throwing at you for upgrading security, which is pointless for me and likely for everyone else.

We have a 7000 sf home that has 3 levels and have had constant wifi reach difficulties. Me and my family got even more frustrated due to constant drops from my Google Mesh system and upgraded to the Orbi AXE 11000. Not only did the speeds improve exponentially but the only drops now are other Google Nest Hub products. I added an extra satellite for even more comprehensive coverage. I also discovered that the Orbi contains its own IOt 2.4 hz network that further cleaned up the 80 devices (security, etc) I have running off our Wifi. Really an incredible experience so far. This product has very little drop in speeds from our ISP when it goes through the Orbi. Very impressive device and worth every cent!

Prior to the Netgear Orbi AXE11000, I’ve had several Linksys mesh systems. When fiber optic finally arrived in our neighborhood I needed a mesh system that would take advantage of the high speed internet. The Orbi did that and more. I have Wi-Fi with consistent download of 500 MBs and upload of 400 MBs anywhere in my 3000 sf two story home and my entire 3/4 acre yard. The coverage is the best I’ve ever had. The setup was easy to do with the Netgear App and I get a report whenever a new device joins my network. It is expensive but IMO worth every penny. I’ve only had it for about 10 days, so I can’t speak to reliability yet, time will tell.

More than enough to cover a 4,200 square feet house. App is super easy to use which made for an easy set up. System was up and running within 20 minutes and was able to create 3 separate netwoks. One for house, guest, and a 2.4 network for smart apps. Paraing mode on back of device makes for easy WAP connections for wireless devices!

The Orbi AXE11000 is the best mesh system I have ever used. It is pricey but the satisfaction of knowing no matter what you throw at it ,the Orbi performs. I have close to 100 smart devices and have not had any drop offs since I set up the mesh network., no buffering on 4k streaming. It just works, and works well. Set up was easy. Up and running in about 20 minutes. I do have 2 Gb service. At the router I get about 2.012 Gb. My Samsung 22 Ultra gets 1.650Gb to 1.750Gb any where in the house and 200 feet outside. AXE11000 is the best now and I'm confident it will remain so for a long time.

I've had Google and Google Nest wifi for a couple of years. I was very happy with it for a while, then when the wifi app got collapsed into the Home app, a little less happy. Then I started getting some network performance issues, and I added a couple of pods to try to extend reach. Intermittent speed issues remained. Eventually, I saw a review of these Orbi AXE11000 devices, and decided to pull the trigger. Setup was a snap - about as easy as it gets. The Orbi app is excellent, IMO. Started out very "noisy" - I got alerts as all my devices connected to the new network, but since then, just notifications when a new device connects. But it automatically does a "threat assessment" when devices connect, and is super easy to manage. Most importantly, though, is the performance. It's insanely fast, at least for me. Obviously, you're limited to the speed of your connection to the internet, but I was only getting a portion of that speed on my Google network. Now, I'm getting as close to the max as I can reasonably expect via wifi. Plus, I've got my PC wired to the 2.5 Ghz port on the Orbi router, and it is blazing fast. The dead spots I was trying to help are gone. Speed is good throughout the house (~3,000 sqft), plus outside in the backyard, on the driveway in the car, etc. It's a high-end purchase, but if it's in your price range, and you're looking for both range and performance, with an easy-to-use app... it's a great choice.

Best mesh router on the market

I moved over from a Linksys mesh system, and this router is 10x better in my testing. Way less drops compared to the Linksys mesh system, and the main router comes with its own multi gig port so I'm able to get full speeds from my ISP (940 mbps+ but can squeeze 1200 mbps from the line) through on all mesh points via Wi-Fi For reference I also tested the Linksys 6e mesh router and this mesh system was performed way better in my testing.

It was easy to set up. With WIFI 6e, you can get blazing speed. For extremely high speed, you should try to have a hardwired Ethernet backbone. Mobile App is ok. All of the more advanced settings are in the web browser apps. No USB ports but that was not important for me.

    Terrible mesh for the price

I was thinking of giving this mesh a 3-star, but I changed my mind for many reasons. One of the biggest reasons. Netgear needs to hire better tech support that cares for their customers, especially when I have to pay for the service because it is not free.#Two the mesh drop devices. No matter what you try, it keeps dropping devices. This is terrible for something that costs $1500. The speed is incredible if it stops disconnecting your devices. Tech support likes to hang up the phone on you, and this is not good when I am spending $1500.I returned it the next day.

A very easy setup, and fast coverage throughout my house. My 6e devices get download speeds of over 900 mbs over most of the house, the slowest connection for other devices is over 500 mbs on a different floor fairly distant from the base. I was hesitant because of the price, but I am glad I got this one.

System is decent. Has fast speeds. Very overpriced IMO. The app Orbi uses to access the router is garbage and full of glitches. Their technical support is outsourced and they are practically useless. I honestly wouldn’t waste your money. Next time around ill go with a different brand.

The Orbi Quad-Band was super quick to setup, Turn them on, wire the master unit to your network, Setup your WiFI SSID and password, then turn on the the two slave units and they will link wirelessly to the master. Place them in strategic locations and you are done. The install was smooth and speed tests were showing 990 Mb/s downloads.

I had 79 devices hooked up to my 860 series three satellite mesh. Upgraded to the 960 series 6e for more coverage (outside!),and I added more smart home equipment. They’reboth excellent systems, but the 960 was like going from a V6 to a V8 with better fuel economy, yet able to tow twice as much! Fantastic!!

I’d been eyeing this Wi-Fi router for a while and finally pulled the trigger. This was an upgrade from my Netgear Nighthawk Wi-Fi 5 router which was still going strong after several years but had some blind spots due to the way my building was constructed. The Netgear Orbi took my Wi-Fi to a whole new level. Not only are my blind spots gone but my speeds are crazy fast! Coverage is great too. I get a signal 50 feet plus away from my residence and I live in a densely populated area with multiple Wi-Fi signals from other area residents. I was worried the satellites in the mesh network would operate at a slower speed but that isn’t the case. This is probably the most money I’ve spent on a Wi-Fi router but it lives up to the hype. Setup is easy and Orbi handles multiple smart devices. I’m currently at 35 and growing. If you can swing the price, go for it. It’s the bees knees.

Easy to setup and very easy to use. The only problem is that the extra apps like Netgear Armor aren't free and I have to look into the technicalities but I'm not sure if it is possible to log into the Network remotely. This has been a great product thus far, as in the house there are three floors and every corner and even the back yard has 3 to 4 bars of connection.
