Customers are enthusiastic about the Orbi 960 Series' impressive coverage, ease of setup and use, and strong performance. Many appreciate the system's extended range and reliable signal strength, consistently delivering fast speeds throughout their homes. However, some users find the price point to be high and the physical size of the units to be a drawback. Concerns were also raised regarding the parental controls and app functionality, with some users experiencing issues with connectivity and the app's reliability.

Overall great quality Routers! The Netgear Orbi's have outstanding range and performance, that also comes with high level security for your home network. Must buy if you use your nwtwork heavily for gaming and streaming on multiple devices!

A little expensive but worth the money. Easy to set-up, strong signal that covers entire 3 floors, ability to connect devices with ethernet (useful for picky older printers that won't connect to wifi), and better app than the Nighthawk app.

I added 8 ring cameras and my internet struggled…I have the nighthawk and the fastest xfinity plan. Did some research and in the end, bit the bullet on this. With the extended warranty, it was just under $1,800! But man was it worth it! No more problems, pulling crazy download amd upload speeds in every corner of my house with the router in the middle of the house, 1 satellite in the front corner and 1 in opposite rear corner. 8 ring cameras, doorbell, chime and up to 30 devices including 3 echos, 3 TV’s, roomba, samsung fridge, 3 cat litter bots…the list goes on and the internet flies! I walked to the corners of my property and still pulled 300+ mbps. I run speedtests just to re-amaze myself. Set up was easy and I use the nighthawk as a modem now. I also subscribed to bitdefender and it keeps the malware away. If you can afford this, do it and you won’t be sorry!

If you can afford this mesh WiFi system then it is a absolutely worth the price. Setup was easy. The app is so intuitive to use and covers everything a typical use would need. The web interface is just as easy to use for people wanting to tweak advanced settings. The wireless backhaul is very stable and has great bandwidth. The only thing I could ask for is a 900 series outdoor satellite. That said the range of these do pretty well covering outside my house so it is not really a negative, but the outdoor satellite would be nice for outdoor 6E coverage. I have this paired with gigabit internet and a Netgear CM2000 modem. That level of service from your ISP absolutely deserves this Orbi system.

Recently upgraded from the ax600. Having 4 bands is really nice and the bump to 200 devices is awesome. When you have a smart home those slots go fast! The 6E is insane. Can pull 200+ on 5g then switch to the 6 band and over 700! Wow!! Rating at 4 starts due to cost but if you have the need for speed this is your product

Orbi still the best ! I recently did a comparison test with another mesh system. The orbi out performed the Amplify system. The setup was also way easier and the Orbi Quad mesh system is easier to maintain.

Very fast, easy to set up. Was online within 2-3 minutes. The 6ghz band shows strong consistent connection. Wi-Fi 6e card is required to access this band but it’s very stable. Thank you Orbi finally a product worth the price

This was an easy setup. They are not small units. They provide excellent coverage inside and outside at my house which is 2 story and just under 2500ft2. 2 may have done the job, but when is more not better!.

Excellent Wifi6e router and satellites and excellent range. I have 1 gig of internet and I get a minimum of 900 Mbps through ethernet and around 600 - 700 Mbps through wifi. Mind you, no company gives complete bandwidth of the internet. These are expensive units but worthy.

I’ve just upgraded from the Orbi AX6000. I’m used to the performance of the Orbis. I do like that it is quad band and allows the IoT devices to be on their own network freeing up bandwidth for other devices. The only con would be the price. It is extremely expensive but worth it!

Consistent wifi throughout. I actually have two mesh systems running in the house. One connected to Xfinity and this one connected to AT&T fiber. I need to have a back up plan just in case one system goes down. This has amazing speeds!

I continually have reliability issues. I've paid $99/year for the premium support but that hasn't resulted in better stability. With Support, we've changed channels, signal strength, but eventually the satellites lose connection, don't reconnect, and need a reboot. Everything is fine for a few days or a week and then I have to reboot again. When the system works, it's blazingly fast, over 650 Mbps. I finally discovered I could use Ethernet backhaul, which they never told me about and which I think was not supported when I first set up the system over a year ago. Alas, this hasn't resolved the unreliable wifi. I've started to use lan cables in major rooms/offices and of course that works. Also, the app doesn't show the satellite status correctly now that I'm using the backhaul. I can test and confirm the system is up but the app doesn't help me diagnose. My kid is very quick to point out when it becomes unreliable again. In his opinion, we have the worst internet on the planet. Sigh. Context: I "upgraded" to this system after trying the Orbi 850. My house is over 5000 sqr feet so the 960 is designed for this. I can't recommend this product.

I’ve been running this for about a month. I keep one unit in the central part of my basement where my modem is attached to the internet, and one on each ‘far’ end of our house. We have about an acre and a half of property and you get full bars all the way out to the edge and beyond. It’s the 2.4ghz out there but speeds are still more than enough. Great system. I use the Ethernet ports on the satellites and they work flawlessly.

Fantastic. Replaced a 4 year old AMPLIFI system which was great but with all our devices seemed a little laggy, tried to move to a netgear wifi6 a couple years ago but really messed with all my nest cameras and protects so threw it to the side and went back to the reliable AMPLIFI, really wanted to make better use of our internet provider so decided I would go to the ORBI….. holy cow it has been a massive change in our house on a daily basis. This thing is fast and it’s fast all over the house. I feel like I’ve been missing out on internet optimized in a big way. I love it and yes expensive but worth the investment if you want to maximize the productivity and speed of your current devices. Big BUY for me.

So far, I’ve experienced much better signal strength from my previous router. I am loving this but faster speeds as well would definitely recommend, the only thing is the price is outrageous.
