Super fast

He helped us with the return and the selection of a new modem. He had good input on internet home service.

IPv6 Issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With Comcast/Xfinity, 1 Gbit service, this UBER expensive 2-piece kit is not worth it. I've demonstrated to Netgear how this Orbi system does not maintain reliable & consistent IPv6 addressing on the internet - which is important not only for routing speed but can also impact cloud based services. Much like other WiFi 7 products introduced in 2023, this system is very preliminary - requiring many future firmware upgrades. That said - IPv6 RA handshaking is executed just fine with other manufacturers and I've demonstrated this ( in my home network environment ) with both Linksys and Qnap router products. Spend your money elsewhere - the Orbi 970 is not well designed nor has it been adequately tested by Netgear. And before the NG social media, paid responders chime in here - I already have an open case with customer service. It is going on nearly 2 months with no fix.

Unreliable & Poor Customer Service & Warranty Exte
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Premium Product Mesh BE27000 in Black purchased directly from Netgear, failed within 6 months of use (failed to power on). Called Netgear worked with a representative with the diagnosis, and was told that someone will have call me back about returning the product back within 2 hours. No one called, so I called back later in the day and was able to get a RMA (return authorization). I was told that I have to ship the product back at my expense, which I did via FedEx overnight. Meanwhile there was no internet in my home so I had to go and purchase a new Router from Best Buy. Netgear shipped the replacement back by FedEx ground and it arrived the 3rd day. I have now lost confidence in the reliability of the product. Since the product is still under original factory warranty I thought it would be a good idea to extend the hardware warranty, so I called Netgear again and asked to purchase extended hardware warranty to extend my factory warranty for another 2 years, The representative refused to extend the warranty and stated it can only be done within 120 days of purchase, which is ridiculous. I work for a world renowned German manufacturer and warranty can be extended as long as the product is still under the original factory warranty. I am just a loss, not buying a Netgear product again.

Not a wise purchase.

I purchased these in order to get Wifi 6E for my new Vive XR Elite. I can only connect at 5Ghz to my Vive and Netgear was not able to help. I purchased a TP-Link - Archer AXE7800 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E Router which works better than the Netgear and it connects to the Vive with 6E. I replaced my Netgear 5Ghz router with these and what a waste of money, There are better options is my opinion.

Wifi7 over rated

NETGEAR surprisingly was terrible and they never took control to give the customer that just spent over $2k the confidence that they could resolve. Returned after 10 days
