I received this product as part of Netgear's First Look Review Program. I have been using another Netgear router for a couple years and it was working great for me but the range has always been a little disappointing as my house is 2900sqrt ft. So I am very open to try another router with better range. Installation was easy and straightforward. Note that the main unit takes quite some time to boot and initilize. It would help a lot if a step by step instruction sheet is included for beginner users. Setup required its app to be completed. The 3 other units just require power and work as is. It took me about 30 minutes to complete the setup. Performance was better than I thought. I initially thought the casing material and design was not great and had the impression it was product targeted low budget so the speed performace would be average. I ran my speedcheck and they can actually support speed up to my cable service contract speed which was 200Mbps. The range was awesome. I placed one at each corner of my house and now I got full bar of WIFI signals at every corner of the house. I used a lot of wireless cameras, sensors throughout the house and they all get very good signals. I am now permantly using this Netgear product for my home WIFI. Recommendation: label the default network name and password on the main unit like other Netgear Router products; include step by step setup instructions

My speed into the Orbi was 144 mbs. When did a speed test on computer was only getting from 40 - 60 mbs. I called support and could not remedy it. They told me that they have had this problems with my internet provider.(Viasat). Also not able to choose between 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz so makes the wireless printing difficult. Sometimes they are on the same network and sometimes not. There is more than likely a way to remedy this but I have not called support.

I bought this hoping to get better/faster wifi though out my house. What I got was pain in my ____. Setup was fast but useless. My internet speeds were worse using as an access port than using my AT&T router/modem. The speed test showed i was getting 900 up and 900 down, but doing a speed test from my device should 2 mbps or less. With my ATT router I got 40 and I thought that was bad. I tried multiple ways to adjust by reading blogs, message boards, and YouTube. I tried to register my product so that I could get assistance from Netgear-- no luck. Every time I entered the serial number I received an error message stating something went wrong. There's no number and no way to submit an email without registering the device that it would let me do. I will be returning.

This router and satellite extenders weren't sufficient for all of my devices. I have to return for tri band mesh router.

This was no better then the original Google WiFi. Was very disappointed at that price point.

These were nice at first, then they would drop connection …. Reboot and then drop connection again the same day some times within the same hour. Returned to BB, since it must have been defective, under warranty, no issues. My family and I decided to go back to an Asus router, far less headaches.

Better for Residential (what it is designed for) than enterprise solution

Not as good as the Orbi that is round. Limited bandwidth
