Works o.k. but is really expensive

I had the base plus 2 satellites for my 2 story home. Connection speed was good but devices did not seem to connect to the closest Orbi satellite or base. I ended up returning the product as it was very expensive and I did not see much gain.

Wish I Could Say I Love It, But....

BUT, we've intermitted issues from the day we purchased the units in May 2020. My system is currently down and we have no idea why, they were working perfectly well for 2 weeks. Not happy.

Disappointment

It does do that, but barely an improvement over the Netgear Nighthawk. There’s also one less Ethernet outport. Netgear’s support is non-existent and community forum is utterly useless when a specific question is directed. For $300, and BestBuy’s poor return policy during the initial COVID19 response, it was a poor purchase decision. I’d prefer to give it a zero star for value, but one is as low as allowed. It was easy to set up, but snag was hit when registering as I have other Netgear products.

Not stable and would not recommend

But I am not sure if the unit I received was defective but this product did not work anywhere near as promised in the 2 weeks I had it. I have a 2 1/2 story home with a basement, around 2600 square feet. The product wasn’t stable, it would lose signal and I would lose WiFi multiple times a day. The second satellite would set up initially but then I would get poor backhaul status and have horrible download speeds. I would not even get a decent signal on my back deck. Customer service was awful. There would be long waits for assistance. The reps did not speak English very well. Calls would disconnect in the middle of the call and I would not get a call back. I have since returned and replaced the product with an Eero Pro 2 pack. It works great and I have not lost connection once in 2 weeks. That product I would recommend wholeheartedly.
