It doesn't work well

Returned this mess

Also.this thing lost connection to the internet atleast 5 times a day. Returned this after 2 days.

When connected to the Orbi via ethernet (which is connected to the cable modem via ethernet) I get less than 30 Mbps. This is AFTER a factory reset of the router, which is the typical response to ANY problem. The connections between the cable modem and the router and between the router and the PC BOTH show 1000 Mbps Full duplex ethernet connection. This is a horrible product.

Could not get it to work

First time, I got to the last step before it stopped. Next two times, I made it through the second or third step. Finally gave up. Bought a Google system.

It made my wifi worse

Disappointing

Ok router

Constantly Malfunctions

I had to have the main router replaced and Netgear shipped me another (at my cost of $29). I installed the new router and it has the same problems (constantly disconnecting). Customer service is fine but really i just don't have the time to deal with its problems, literally once a day. will attempt to get a refund but not hopeful.

Netgear blamed spectrum and spectrum blamed Netgear. I spent about two hours on the phone with each to no avail! Could not get it to connect. I had heard great things about it, so once I get another spectrum modem to rule out that it is not a spectrum problem, I mag give it another try.

Poor Speeds

Was only getting 198 down and 5 up - contacted Netgear Orbie Support - they recommended if I am not happy with my speeds, I should return the product and buy something else. I followed directions and will never buy another Netgear product.

Horrible product - Hard to Setup and Unreliable

My home installation is one that is similar to millions of households on this product simply does not work.

Stopped working!

After the 2 years, suddenly stopped working and Netgear support could not fix it. Since it was pass the warranty, I would have to buy a whole new system. Hundreds of dollars wasted in a system that only worked for a short period of time.

Constant rebooting

I have a Roku connected via Ethernet and it still works intermittently. Ever since I’ve had this I am constantly rebooting it just to get the internet connection back up. Very disappointed.
