We had a problem getting WiFi to one side of the house because it was the only place that the cable modem could be set-up and also provide phone access for the house. Our main computer is on the opposite side of the house and even with a WiFi extender it had horrible speeds. Set-up the Orbi system quickly and then hard-wired the home computer into the satellite in that room. The speeds are now like I am hard-wired into the main modem. We have a total of 15 devices on the system and have seen no speed or signal issues since. The only complaint, although minor, is that the Circle Parental Control did not properly set-up the first time when I set the system up using the Orbi app. I factory reset everything and then set the system up using the web interface and everything worked perfectly!

I moved from a nether nighthawk ac1900 with dst which was confusing for some home users to the Orbi it was smooth to set up very easy to mange and the threat security is amazing. My WiFi access and speed are off the charts now.

This was one of the easier router set ups I have done. It solved the problem of dead spots in my small office building. I like using the Orbi app to access the router. It was much more convenient than having to log onto the computer.

Orbi has made a big difference in the internet speed over the whole house. I haven't had the slow downs that I had been experiencing every evening and some mornings by the internet provider. So far, so good. I've had it for a month.

Easy to setup, works great with our Spectrum modem, and super fast everywhere in our home! We have shielding in our home that is a bear for electronics and it doesn’t interfere. Highly recommend this product!!!

Immediately after setting up the mesh system are WiFi throughout the house improved dramatically. Huge improvement given 2 adults working from home and three kids online with school. Extremely easy setup and I love the app.

Incredible speeds, much better than ISP provided router. Whole home coverage and then some. A little tricky to setup but once it's done, nothing to worry about after. Have had no problem in the last 3 weeks since purchase.

We had added a 350 square foot family room to our home a few years ago. Because of the location of the room I was having trouble getting wi-fi in the family room. I had a system with a two channel extender which effectively operated like three different networks each with their own password. I had an Alexa hookup, a Bose SoundTouch speaker system and was streaming Amazon Prime. The short of it is that these devices would drop out try to switch networks etc. This doesn't happen with the Orbi system as with mesh technology everything acts as a single network regardless of where it gets its signal from. It also has increased the speed of the network which is important as my wife is now working from home due to the Covid 19 virus. I would highly recommend this product.

We have a fully connected home with a lot of google homes, chrome-casts, computers, game consoles and more. Our old single router system worked well enough but with the pandemic and a larger pull on resources for multiple Zoom meetings and things going on at the same time it was time to upgrade. This system really checks all the boxes. It provides 5g bandwidth to my whole home and is easily able to handle 4 different Zoom meetings going on at the same time. The hardest part was setting it up which can be frustrating but once it is done you also have easy access to monitor what devices are on your network and what node they are connected to, while also letting you disconnect unneeded devices with a click of a button on your phone. Great product great GUI all around great investment.

I've had Google wifi before and this system blows that away. I get ridiculous speeds throughout my entire 3200sq ft house. Easy thing in the world to setup. You'll be up and going in 5 mins. I highly recommend this product!

My two-story house is just under 3000 sq ft and has thick walls and doors. My previous wifi was horrible in each upstairs area and anywhere where there was distance between the main wifi and anywhere else. I had extenders, but this didn't help much. Bought these after a tech friend recommended them. They were easy to set up and instantly made all the difference in the world for max download and upload speeds (based on my internet speeds I pay for) tested on speedtest.net. My family members now don't have problems playing Fortnite (no more packet loss and other issues), and we'll have four different people in different areas of the house all streaming things (games, movies, Xbox, YouTube TV, etc.) and don't have any problems. Great buy!

Set up really easy. Took a few minutes to get the satellites working but not that bad. Comes with an app to help control everything and a year of bit defender. Went from getting 20 mb on wifi to the full 115

We were beginning to experience serious problems in getting print jobs from any of our devices to make their way to our wireless HP printer and were on the verge of replacing the printer, a venerable but still functional 8600 (which they stopped making, naturally). We were getting messages such as "the printer is offline", and my laptop was unable to get signal in some of the more remote rooms of the house. But then I began to wonder if the problem could be the age of the old Netgear router, made worse by brick and pipes in the way of the signal. I did due diligence reading reviews, and decided the Orbi might be worth the cost. The Orbi has solved both problems I was experiencing and was a snap to install and bring all our other gear into the network.

Bought these, easy to set up with the app. Hardest part is shutting off your service providers router. Once that is complete the system works great. We have had no issues and i can monitor and control use.

After suffering with Verizon wifi for 3 years, I finally called BestBuy consulting service. I prepared a network diagram showing all of my connections (Alexa, Ring, Routers, etc.) and the consultant looked at my situation and recommended Orbi mainly because I already had ethernet cables to the high-use rooms. He ordered it for me, I picked it up that afternoon and unpacked it. The next morning I downloaded the app, took the main unit down to the basement & connected it to the Verizon modem, plugged in the ethernet to the other rooms, plugged in the 2 satellites to ethernet. Turned it all on, connected to the new Orbi network. Voila! It all worked. The laptops are faster, the Firestick is faster, streaming is solid.

I installed a 3 pack to combat a dead zone where a couple of computers were located. By connecting to the ethernet port on the Mesh satellite Orbi, internet speed increased nearly 10X. Easy to setup and manage.

bought this on 4/18/20 I had a linksys below mesh system with 4 pods total it stopped working so I decided to try this orbi out the first two days one of the pods would keep disconnecting like crazy called netgear come to find out i was getting ddosed every 10 minutes for the past two days swapped out my modem to change IP & now no issues at all she is working perfect love the orbi app very useful & all around great system. I have the orbi router with 2 satellites which cover my home perfect & me & the wife both work from home so it was definitely needed. I believe my old linksys velop mesh stopped working because of the ddos attacks but guess ill never know for sure luckily with this orbi it logs everything

Bought this to cover an approximately 3700 sq ft home (including a basement) where the modem is located in the far back bedroom turned office. My son was home from college and had to complete courses online from the basement where he was quarantined for 2 weeks (plus, he's a gamer). I placed the router with the modem, one satellite in the basement and one in the living room. Setup went as instructed, but I kept getting the error "could not connect to (name) network". I finally called Netgear tech support- I was only on hold a couple minutes and within 10 minutes the problem was resolved (via the computer vs the phone app). The rep was very good and did a great job with getting me up and running. Once connected, the phone app is easy to use and helpful. It shows what devices are connected and which satellite they are using (or the router). You can rename all the devices connected which is handy if the Orbi app doesn't know what the device is (like smart plugs). The MAC address is the easiest way I found to trace devices. My download speeds are what I pay for (150 Mbps) and latency is low. Connection is good throughout the house. I'm very satisfied with this product.

I did a ton of research to find a system that is powerful and can be used in a daisy chain. My office is at the far end of our property and the router is at the other end - don't ask! when we installed internet, wifi wasn't even a thing yet. So I needed a system that could expand wide, not just up. This one does the trick! It works great. I also have the option of plugging into the satellite unit which gives my laptop a stronger signal. Highly recommend. Easy to set up if you have basic skills, not sure my other half would know how to do it, but if you can follow basic instructions, you will be good to go.

For a larger home, this product is great! I was not excited about the price but it was worth it. It took a bit to find the right locations for the extenders, but once dialed in, great coverage!
