Until is about 100 foot from the 2 inside the house on two different floors. Works great, a bit pricey but with the money

Hard to configure

Finally got it to "go", after a couple of hours of messing w/it & truthfully, I"m still not sure if it's improving my reception when I'm outdoors @ the far edges of the yard, which isn't that big. Guess I'll just have to trust it's working, as I do think I receive Spotify better through my iPhone & iPods.

Great for beginners

Easy to hook up with app. Gives your outdoors same wifi as you would inside. Stream tv and music outside with no connection problems. Definitely a good purchase.

Good - When it works

Reboot, works for a day or two and then disconnects. So far, Netgear support has proven more work. Recommend that you look for other manufacturers.

Exactly what I needed.

Well setting this up in the garage solved my issue. Have perfect covered all around my house now.

Range was disappointing

It's probably not the right application for us, but we were disappointed. We kept the unit because it helped us some...and didn't want to take it down...but not as happy as with other Orbi products.

Wait to buy next generation Orbi outdoor extender

Wait for the next generation. I had to wait on the phone with Orbi people for two hours to find this out.

Good if you want to connect outdoors. No Eththough

Instead, it's wireless only and forces you to Daisy chain units in-between in order to get coverage to the outside spot where you intend to mount this unit.
