    I needed to upgrade my switch so that my internet connected to fiber optic cable to my house would run at gig speed. My provider is Metronet (TMobile). Actually, I am seeing a speed of something like 987 megs a second, but that may not be the fault of the switch.

    We use these switches to extend the network in our offices and small labs. We only have a couple wall ports to each office/lab, but when we need to connect multiple devices in these locations we can always count on these switches being an easy solution.

    Worst decrease in internet speed ive ever seen. Was getting around 600mbs before plugging in the device, then the device lowered it to 17mbs. Would not recommend this product at all.

    I quickly needed a switch to get my network up and running in our new house. My local BestBuy had one in stock and I picked it up and put it to work immediately. I've always used Netgear devices and never had an issue.
