I have my wifi router in the basement of my house. This was the simple solution to connect to my TV in the living room upstairs that needed internet connection for netflix, since my wifi signal was weak at my TV location. It uses the copper wires in your house to act as an ethernet port. It provided a solid stable connection.

Working from home, my desk is on the 2nd floor and the modem on the 1st floor. Simple to set up and use. Plug one into the wall outlet and connect to modem with cable, plug the other into the wall outlet near your desk and connect it to your laptop/desktop.

When your home is not wired for ethernet but you need Ethernet connectivity between key devices, this solution beats trying to string cables through your attic. Installation was quick and simple, performance is excellent, and it's wonderfully reliable.

Plug into the power outlet near your modem, you can still use the other socket since this product doesn't cover both ports. Plug the other into your outlet where you need connection. I get about 98% of my internet speed.

Great product. Increased my internet speed over regular wifi.wifi I was getting around 15 mbps, with the net gear extender, I am getting around 75 download, and around 36 up. I am happy with this product, and for a reasonable price. The salesman at Best Buy was very helpful.

The power line ethernet adapters work wonderfully! Just plug them in to the wall, connect your ethernet cables to your router and your desired device and you're good to go. I use them to connect my Tivo to the internet. Streams Netflix and other services without a hesitation.

I used this for gaming. Since my router was on the first floor and using WiFi was not an option for game play, I bought this and I didn’t see any degradation of play or speed. Very satisfied

This was a very handy solution to get wired internet (in addition to the wireless I had) Clever way to use power lines as a conduit & set up was incredibly easy. Only reason for 4 stars (instead of 5) is cost- that I need to buy a few more if these for my other computers.

The device is simple to install. Only issue I have is that he salesman misunderstood my question. This device provides ethernet over power, not power over ethernet, that is a big difference. Regardless, the device works as it is designed.

This was easy to ser up. We had a dead spot and my spouse was okay with a hard wire connection. We have coverage and she can run her Zoom meeting while I run my class. Made my life easier for a lot less money than Comcast. I would recommend this product to a friend

It works fine. 2 rooms away we get 50 upload/50 download and we have Google 500. But it's consistent, at least. Setup was straight forward but we had a hard time figuring out how to get all lights lit. We finally got it.

Net gear has always had a good reputation and this product clearly shows why. Good fit and finish with easy to understand instructions. Less than 5 min setup and now I have a solid Ethernet access point in a different room from the router.

Easy setup and easy to reset. Our home is newly wired so the geek squad recommended this as an option. Never had any serious problems although I did have to reset the units back to factory settings once or twice do to service interruptions by our cable company. Not difficult.
