This is a lightning fast solution for a home wifi problem. Our cable modem is downstairs and this lets us send the internet upstairs through the wall and out an access point upstairs. Handles TWC Roadrunner with 0% signal loss. We get better wifi upstairs than my brother does down stairs in the room next door to the router.

I've used Powerline extenders in the past and they worked fine. However, this time around speeds have been so slow that I've resorted to using wi-fi. My apartment's electrical wiring may have something to do with the slow speed. Your mileage may vary when using these Powerline Extenders.

While I'm not getting a perfect signal, I am getting a usable one (for my requirements) from the main house to the shop (separated structures with older wiring). Worked way better than wireless would have...I highly recommend this cost saving solution if you need to extend your network.

This is exactly what we were looking for. My son was getting poor internet in his room and the Best Buy associate recommended this. Getting great internet upload and download speeds now. This will be great for school while we are doing e-learning.

If you want a wired Internet connection and you don't want to run wires through the walls then this is the product you want to buy. Easy to set up and use. Run it from your router to a wall outlet and plug it in.

I believe it is working the majority of the time and my connection speeds are fine. There were one or two times that the extender in my basement was stuck on standby mode and I had to basically reset it to turn it off.

Had never heard of using existing electrical lines to help send wifi signal (I think that's what it does). Plugged 1 end at router in west end of house and other end into smartv at far east end of house and instantly received super-strong signal. No more worries loading Netflix or Prime.

Great for extending wifi. The ethernet cable that comes with it is a little short but other than that it works well and is easy to setup. wifi speeds are nice on my gaming PC

I used these to take the internet connection out to a detached garage to run a security DVR. Don’t always get a preferable led, but I have not noticed any lapses or delays after a few weeks now. Did notice a better performance, based upon the led display, in one outlet versus another.

We were looking for a way to help with internet in the upstairs portion of our house. We have a great router, but still needed something to help with gaming and streaming. Purchased this and it made all the difference. No more lagging on any devices.

I've used this type of product for years now, so I don't have wires running though my house. My last one stopped working and I purchased this one to replace it. It took seconds to set up (just plug into outlets) and it was ready to go. So far so good.

Honestly, I was a little skeptical about this product, but after 5 weeks of use. Wow! No disconnects. I use the Netgear Powerline to connect my reef aquarium to the router upstairs. Its been a gem, easy plug & play, no more running a cat5 cable through the walls. This did the trick!

Works like a charm.
I had to call the geek squad when I originally installed - it didn't seem to work. They ran me through rebooting my modem and everything was great.
Thanks Best Buy!

Excellent for gaming. Bought this item with the assistance of geek squad employee. For the price and what it does, great buy in my opinion. I am able to play in a different room from where the router is with no lag.

If you need an extended net for a device then this works fine. I used it for an internet phone line on the edge of my router's range. I don't know how good it is for a data device...
