IT WORKS!!! NETGEAR - Powerline 1000
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I moved into a small apartment in my mother's garage about 150' feet from the main house. The WiFi signal was super weak. I bought the Powerline 1000 just hoping it would work. It works like a champ. The only setup is plugging one box near the router and the other box near your computer or device you want to use. plug the ethernet cables in and your done. You do not have to share the same breaker, just the same service (breaker box). This product works.

Great Powerline Adapter
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I was a bit skeptical because you see all the reviews and some people say there great and others just trash them. Since I’m working from home now I’ve moved my office to the basement. And if you all know basements...they are bad for WiFi connections. It doesn’t matter how fast your bandwidth is, what service company you use, or how new your home is. If you have a dead spot in your house nothing can fix that in my opinion. I have to say this option works wonders. No more drop Zoom calls, spotty calls that keep breaking up and everything works fantastic with direct connection. I’m sure this isn’t the best on the market but it certainly does work wonders in my house. Plus the price was great opposed to jumping directly with a more expensive option. Would highly recommend trying.

Great product for the cost.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a way to connect a desktop that i just bought to our home network. Didnt have a wireless card in pc and area that pc is located is in a poor wireless signal area. For a simple and inexpensive solution this works great. My only reason for 4 stars is that the only open wall outlet that i had open was about 10 feet from the router and i have a ethernet cable showing in my living room.

Made the difference
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My home office is in the back of the house, opposite where the wifi and router are in the den. Air routers proved worthless, so the choice was to run a 200' ethernet cable to the rear of the house, or something I hadn't heard of till recently but network extenders that use the wires in the house to send the signal. Viola! I had signal, and not the 115mbs that comes into the house, but a respectable 25-35mbs, which I suppose would be more had I gone the ethernet cable route, but for work (Covid quarantined working from home) it does just fine.

Excellent for Connectivity
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this because, unfortunately, my home office is as far from the wifi router as possible. Easy to use, took two minutes to set up, and I'm now hardwired into Verizon FIOS with perfect service. Highly recommend if your wifi signal is weak and you don't mind plugging into an ethernet cable.

Simple, Fast, Reliable connection! I LOVE it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've moved 8 times in as many years, so I'm heavily dependent on simple, reliable, gear. For much of the time I didn't have internet (or once even electricity :3 ), but it's become a necessity for school and work. My newest location only had a wifi hub, my PC's wifi wouldn't work, and I wasn't allowed to run a cable. I searched around for a bit, and found this puppy. I've had good experiences with Netgear equipment in the past, and it seemed simple enough, so I gave it a shot. It worked FLAWLESSLY. Seriously, I plugged in both power bricks, both ethernet cables, and I had internet. No configuration, and setup took five minutes... because I was lazy. :) I've never used a better adapter; this is a GEM! It isn't the fastest connection I've ever had, but I'm a little spoiled. It won't be quite as fast as cable. But it is very quick. It hasn't lagged or dropped out once, for months of heavy use. 1080 streaming hasn't had a hiccup. It's an aesthetically pleasing design, too! It's simple and compact, and appears to be well built of high quality materials. My FAVORITE aspect of the Powerline is that it is non-proprietary! No matter where I am, or who my service provider is, if I have power, I have internet access. It really is a breeze! TWO THUMBS UP!!

Perfect to get Gigabit speed into another room
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i hooked up the PL1000 to the router upstairs and then plugged the other end to the tv/home theater setup. I then plugged that into a GS308 -8 port Gigabit switch. From the switch I used short Cat6 or Cat7 cables to run to Cable-box / apple TV/ receiver/PS4 for hard-line. Works great.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was amazingly easy to set up, and it kept me from having to do some major wiring to get an ethernet cable hookup for my computer downstairs when the cable modem is located upstairs. This is really awesome and it works great! I am so happy!

Stable Connection
|Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the easy set up these hace. It is simplicity at its finest. Plug one into a wall and the other into a wall where the internet modem is and connect the ethernet cable to the modem. I have had no internet connection issues on my devices when using this ethernet plug-in. It holds connection well. Only one device at a time can be used with this product.

Worked as advertised
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this item by mistake but it actually solved my biggest problem. I have it connected to my TV which it a good distance away from the main router. All the lag is GONE. What was really amazing is that is really is very easy to setup. So simple that you keep second guessing yourself that you missed something. So impressed am I that I will be purchasing a few more units. This device saves me from having to cut walls and run cable. Con If only it could have transmitted wireless signals too that would have made it a 5 star.
