Excellent. Surprisingly simple to set up.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant about getting these but figured I had a relatively new house (built in the 90s), so hopefully, the wiring was good. I wanted to move my wired printer and network drive to a different location in the house, away from where my modem and router are. So, I plugged one into the wall on one side of the house where I wanted the printer and drive, and the other one on the other side of the house where my DSL modem and router was. Connected both to the Powerline with an ethernet cable, and it all just worked! Seamless! No configuration of anything! That may have perhaps been the simplest networking setup I've ever done in my 30 years of dealing with networking equipment. Nice job, Netgear! I would highly recommend these. I have no idea how much the quality of the house wiring affects these, but I would think it would have some. Definitely worth a try.

Perfect for extending high bandwidth connection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always used powerline networking as my isp speeds never exceeded what I could achieve with powerline adaptors. Then I got a gigabit connection...well 11 mbp throughput was just not going to cut it anymore... time to upgrade. While I don't get true gigabit speeds I am happy with the 70 to 80 mbps I now get. I run lots of servers and WSUS so speed for updates was critical. At some stage might just go into the expense of cabling up the house... but till then this is covers all my needs. Remember condition of your home electrical wiring will play a big role in your throughput experience.

Speedy and convenient
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this pair of Powerline 2000 to replace an identical unit that stopped working after about 2 years. If not for that failure I'd rate these 5 stars. The bandwidth and performance is outstanding. I have one of these plugged into my router (which is right next to my cable modem) and another plugged into the wall in my home office. My internet speeds on my office computers indicate that these are not a limiting factor in my data rates. The convenience factor cannot be overstated. Just be sure to plug them into outlets that are on the same leg of the AC so that you're not trying to run the signal out through the electric utility's transformer.

Excellent Product
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 4 of these, 1 connects to my router and the other 3 go to 2 Roku TV's with 2 Fire Sticks and and my other goes to another TV just with Fire Stick - (note: all 3 of my Fire Sticks have the Ethernet adapter connected to them) but remember the Roku TV's and the Fire Stick only can receive 100 Mbps Max - so in reality for me it's "overkill" for all my devices, since this Netgear Powerline 2000 can distribute 1000Mbps Gigabit speeds to any device that can accept 1000Mbps. On all my devices that can only accept 100Mbps, I actually tested the speeds and im receiving approx 88Mbps speeds at 75 feet away, this is very good, because I had the lower end Netgear Powerline 500 products connected before these newer Powerline 2000 and they only tested at 45 Mbps at the same distance of 75 feet. So even though it's "overkill" it's worth using these because their twice as fast ;)

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great way to get fast internet to areas where you want hardwire type speeds or where WiFi signal is low in your home. I wasn’t expecting great performance but was surprised at how fast and reliable the internet connection has been through this product.

Great for dead spots
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device used the wiring in your house to give you full speed ahead. When wifi just wont do. Simple as plug into one electric socket near your modem and conect to your modem. Then plug into eletrical socket near gaming system or computer. Conect to device and away you go.

Works in General
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.400 Mbs at the router, 110 Mbs at the end of the powerline. The good thing its a wired connection vs a wireless. Which means full duplex vs half duplex. Set up was incredibly easy.

Great Powerline Kit!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this kit so I could connect the internet to my smart TV in the living room from the router located upstairs in our computer room. It works via plugging an internet connection into one of these devices which is then plugged into the wall. The other device is plugged into the wall in the living room behind the TV where a LAN cable is connected from it to the TV. The directions in the manual were simple to understand and use and I had the system up and running in just minutes. It works great! Also, with the extra outlet located on the front of each device that gives you back the outlets each device took in order to be plugged in. A great design!

Great value, great result for hard wire set up
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is actually pretty cool if you are looking to hard wire your network. It provides a clean signal and it’s easy to set up. The only downside is that it doesn’t have a wireless option. This is great for gaming and desktops.

Great for Xbox One Connection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I get wired speed using this product. I tried a few extenders, but they didn't do the job. This was extremely easy to use and had it set up and working within about 2 minutes. Highly recommend if you need wired speeds for gaming or streaming. No complaints at all.

Interesting solution for Ethernet
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These things work incredible for what they are. I'm kind of shocked they work at all. Though problem is if anyone in the house uses anything with amperage like a Hair dryer, or Microwave. You could potentially lose connection at that time. Take it with a grain of salt as that all depends on your power connections in your house or apartment. I have limited control of my situation as i'm in a apartment and trying to get Ethernet from the front all the way to the back is hard and has a wireless dead zone. These will fight you to set up. But will work. Buy the protection plan just incase as well.

Great device!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was looking for a way to activate my wall ethernet ports in apartment. At&t wanted to charge me $149 just to come out plus equipment. I found this and was able to connect one end to my router and the other to established cables in maintenance room. Now both ports in my office work! My only gripe is that it is so big it covers both ports. That is the reason for the port on its face. The room where my router is has the tv and many other things that need to be plugged into a surge protector. I had to jerry-rig something to get around plugging a surge protector into the device.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been surprised to how well this Ethernet powerline device has worked. It has worked great with no issues. It works great in any room of my house. I was concerned about signal loss due to my home size +3000 sqft but I have had no issues.
