Powerline networking gotchas
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive found that in multiple houses, its a careful dance to get powerline networking to perform anywhere close to the advertised speeds. You must move them around plug to plug to see which has the best speeds. Typically if there are any GFCI/AFC near it will cut it by more than half. Actually anything on the same branch can negatively affect it. This is all models. You will see them go into red mode and come back for no apparent reason. I tried about 10 plugs and was able to get 100mbps finally between two places.

Fantastic Fix
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a perfect solution if you know what you are doing. I was having a congestion issue with my Mesh Network. I have around 50 devices connected at all time (Home Automation). I wasn't able to get streaming services on my X900F (Recently bought on sale #ThankYouBestBuy). I purchased this device and read a lot of the ideal situations to put this in, worked like a charm. I was able to hard wire the X900F and an Xbox One X with the one device. One thing to note. One the source plug, you only need to plug in one ethernet, otherwise it makes the whole network Trip. Getting a solid 150 Mbps out of a 450 Mbps service. Both the Xbox and the X900F are running perfect.

Easy, effective alternative to running CAT5
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works flawlessly. Get good speed across two circuits in my house, faster and more reliable than wifi for a desktop PC, without having to run an Ethernet line through the walls.

easy, quick, reliable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use and install, works with older ones but these are a bit faster. The outlet is a great feature since the size makes you lose two outlets. So far very happy with them.

Good but not the best
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m content with the product, but you get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a permanent solution to lags in gaming or WiFi in general it’ll help...to a point. For $30 more dollars you can get the next best and for $80 seems to be a premium. You do notice differences in speed not complaining, but only reason purchased was because my modem/router wasn’t cutting it. I’m paying for internet 1000 and needed to connect ethernet to game console w/o running wires throughout the house. I also purchased two CAT-6 wires separately.

Connection is perfect!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this because the wireless internet just wasn’t cutting it. They have been amazing so far and work just like I have an Ethernet plugged in directly from the router to my pc. Highly recommend these if you are far away and running a 50 foot Ethernet cable isn’t an option!

Good not great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It did a decent job extending my wifi to a man cave that is about 100 feet from the main house. However, the connection speed was too slow for my liking as i like gaming. It was good for streaming tv and surfing the net. I moved it inside the house since there are spots where wifi isn't good and it works perfect.

Buy this Powerline 2000!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Netgear Powerline 2000 is outstanding. One ethernet to the first wall unit, then wireless to the second unit that is connected to my desktop computer. I have half-gig internet service to my modem, but in the basement, I was only getting about 40 mbps download speed. The Powerline 2000 increased the download speed to about 175, which better than I thought it would be. The first unit also has a ethernet port to connect to another device, which makes it wired direct from your modem or router. The best part of all of this is the configuration took all of about ten minutes with no need for a computer and app.

Great upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Trying to get a signal from one end of my house to the other on another floor was a nightmare. Picking these up was a last ditch effort and luckily it paid off. VERY easy to set up and have worked like a dream!

Plug and play simplicity.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great with zero added latency. Verified with cmd TRACERT GOOGLE.COM with 1ms latency to the router. My system recognizes this as a 1 gbps connection which i am not sure how to test. It passes the full amount of bandwidth needed to support my internet connection. The price is a bit high for what it is.

Extend Network without Wires
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had tried early versions of networking over power without much success, so wasn't expecting much when a friend recommended I try the Netgear Powerline 2000 instead of running Ethernet cables to a remote WiFi router. I have been pleasantly surprised with the network reliability and speed. I have multiple Ring and Wyze devices utilizing the remote WiFi router connected to the Netgear Powerline 2000 and haven't experienced any reduction in connectivity. The best part is the Netgear Powerline 2000 allowed me to try my remote WiFi router in multiple locations throughout my house before finally selecting the best location for all the devices using it.

Great replacement for poor WiFi connection at home
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Resolved my slow connection when using wifi in a room that doesn't get good reception. Easy to use and the outlet is handy. It is bulky and may block the second outlet.

It works great but....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ours is currently plugged in near the router upstairs and the output is downstairs in the basement near my office. It has maxed out our speeds at around 100+ mbps. Not all outlets go that high. I'm guessing it depends on how many devices on the line it needs to go through, the electrical box, etc. I'm not really sure. Our house was built in the 1950s. So the wiring isn't the greatest. One outlet was inconsistent. It got 100 but then dipped down to 50. Still, this is much better than wifi in the basement that I'm sure cut out. I can run a short 15 foot cord to my favorite outlet and be done with it. I'm ok with that. Even 50 mbps was fine but I wanted the max possible.

For most applications it fine but for work and games the ping fluctuated too much. Setup is pretty easy. Mostly plug and play. Aftet getting everything connected the ping is rock solid.
