I bought it Nov2022 and it work great. Especially since the tv was in the opposite side of the house. But now it's not working the same. It's unbelievable it only lasted about 7 months. But thankfully I have total tech and I can get it replaced.

Works well. However, the actual speed is depends upon how big your house is, how it's wired up, and what other things (like power strips) are on the same plug. My house is around 3500 sq feet, and one plug is located upstairs, and the other one is downstairs. The max speed I've seen is for my installation is around 35Mbs, which is way better than an older version of the Netgear Powerline I had.

Added the Netgear Power line 2000 with outlet to my existing TP- Link AV2000 with outlet system. TP-Link AV2000 was not available so I thought I would try the Netgear. Instructions for synching with another system was a little confusing, but easily accomplished after a few tries. I work from home and was having too many issues with my WIFI, especially when using ZOOM for hours every day. These devices take the guesswork out of connecting. Added some to my WIFI enabled TVs and DVD players for awesome Prime movies.

Bought this set on Black Friday from Amazon and they died within 6 months of use. Bought new ones at Best Buy and they've been working fine for about a year. Not sure why the first two both broke, but am happy that this is working for me. On my gigabit internet, I get download speeds averaging 200 megabit/s on the powerline ethernet connections. This is good for wiring things like Apple TVs and other streaming devices to reduce latency and have less wifi signals bouncing around the house.

Installed a TV in my daughters bedroom while visiting and since I have had such good luck with these at home in the VI, I said lets get one for your house. Plug and Play is the best way to describe how well they work.... plug into the wall by the router, plug from the router into it, plug one in the bedroom, connect the cable, connect to the TV and voila, broadband connection and no buffering because of poor wireless connection Darn things should get the invention of the year award the year they were invented

You will not get full connection with this most likely. It's very dependent on the homes wiring. It also will leave one plug unused once you plug it in due to its bulky design. But It does do what it promisd and give you a stable connection. I have not disconnected once nor has the speed dropped from what it has been consistent at.

Dual ethernet ports on each so upstairs my roku and laptop are plugged in and in the basement one connection to my switch. Getting 55 mps with the laptop and 4k roku plugged in, with encryption rilunning on my network. Excellent purchase, easy set up and great performance. I recommend tjem highly.

So I have a 2 story townhome. Upstairs is my modem which gets 250mgps. I have a wireless router which gives me at the most 12mgbs. Small problem my streaming video services which require 4k (at least 25gbs) are downstairs. I would get lots of buffering and skipping. I read a review on this product and decided to try it. Easy set up and I get great speed downstairs! At least 80 mbps. A definite must have if you are experiencing the issues that I did. Yes I know I could have gotten a newer router but this was the far cheaper route, ; )

Since we all have been sent to work from home I needed to setup a home office in the bedroom and my work computer was hard wired without wireless I needed to either get a wireless dongle or setup a way to wire everything up. With having another computer that also needed to get wired inn also I opted for trying these. It was a great decision. Throughput is much higher than wireless and just uses one port from the router. If I had enough I could just use the modem without the router at all.

Allowed service to two computers not near my router/modem and didn’t have to run long cables...just the usual 4-foot cables from the Powerline. I also have a separate powerline network prior to this one and still am using it with no interference. I didn’t bother to connect the new ones to it since the other one was an older model. But they both run well. Has helped with a lot of audio/video issues we had with Wi-Fi during distance learning/remote working. Highly recommend!

Extends internet connection in your house

We were having problems with our home internet/wifi, and the tech support guy at the company recommended getting a powerline adaptor. He explained that plugs into the wall and uses the wiring in your house to extend the wired internet connection (DSL in our case) to another part of the house, effectively creating another wired connection and good wifi signal. We decided to pay a bit extra for the version with an extra outlet. This turned out to be a good idea, as the device uses one outlet and partially covers the other outlet of the pair (a standard 2-prong will fit, but nothing larger). It turned out we also needed to plug a wifi router into this device (not the fault of the manufacturer or BestBuy, but something I wish the tech support guy would have told us). Fortunately, we had an old one we weren't using, so plugged it in. We figured out that since it's a separate wifi connection, our devices needed to have the login added so they can access whichever signal is best depending on where we are in the house. The device instructions could have been more helpful on this point, but we got it figured out and it's made a definite improvement in our wifi connection throughout the house.

I read other reveiws about these Powerline adapters and liked what I read. I do not like the idea of data floating around in the airwaves. Everything I read says hardwired systems are more secure. That was the reason for my choice along with not having to run hundreds of feet of ethernet cable throughout my home. I am happy I would buy again.
