Purchase your ISPs wifi extender and not this.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 2GB internet speeds with ethernet. I thought this would be a good fix inster of having to purchase xFi pods. Turns out i was extremely wrong. I put photos of an internet speed test with ethernet, and with Wifi. Im calling cap on the "green > 80 mbps (best)". I think the user manual may just have a typo, and the 0s weren't meant to to be there. That would at least make sense getting only a 7 mbps upload speed.

||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was really slow for me. It could have been my actual service, but even wifi worked better. I do like that you get two ethernet plug ins, and another outlet, but I would just stick to wifi or direct ethernet instead.

Will cause AFCI breaker to trip. Do not use
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As soon as I set these up it started cause breakers to trip, so I looked it up and it’s a known issue for AFCI breakers. Which are used in most new homes. They did work but in 2 hours it tripped 4 breakers. Stay away if you have a new home

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The WiFi extender really lives up to the hype! The speed boost is noticeable. 4K content can now be streamed without any lag or interruptions, even when multiple devices are connected. It's been incredibly reliable, and the signal strength is consistently strong throughout the entire house. No more frustrating moments of waiting for pages to load or videos to buffer. This extender is highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their home network

Does the job
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am able to use the Internet via wired connection successfully. I needed this because my home is newer and has the modem built in essentially through a panel in my washer room. Due to this, I can’t really move it around. This was a great solution so that I could still use Ethernet in my office for my computer as I work from home. I give it a 4 because it doesn’t give me the full speed capacity I was hoping would be equal to direct modem connection, but it is still faster than my Wifi. It’s nice for gaming also.

Works well, almost ideal, but not quite
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product is easy to setup and provides a great connection. In the several months since I've had them, I've had to reset (plug/unplug) the devices to get them to play nicely with one another. The pass-through power and extra ethernet port are great features and work well; however, the device is *slightly* too large at the top to allow another three-prong grounded device to be plugged into a standard 120V U.S. outlet. It's as if they did all the QA on it and never thought to actually test it with something else plugged in. Thus, your only practical options are: 1. Don't use the top outlet (non-option for most) 2. Buy a VERY thin flat adapter to slip behind and above this device (can be hard to find) 3. Only plug two prong devices (i.e. lamps) into the outlet above where you plug this in.

Awesome power line devices.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The power line inverters worked out quite well in my installation. Ease of installation and simple set up was a breeze. The addition of the outlet on the face of the Devices and the extra Ethernet port really made a bad situation not so bad at all. The hardest part of the installation was finding the right power line to tap into. 1st try green and amber lights the lowest data transfer possible. Then I tagged a different area and with plenty of doubt in mind I proceeded to plug into a different outlet, apparently on a different circuit and BAM! Itwas beautiful all green lights and the internet was running at a blistering rate, im extremely happy with the performance especially with the environment it had to contend with. The house had a large footprint with about150 ft between points A and B if it was in a straight line. the distance indirectly was approximately 400+ ft with 5 walls and stucco to contend with. I was impressed with the performance and highly recommend to anyone who needs an Ethernet port where there is none available.

Great Product
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use a PC for teleworking. The PC is a few rooms distant from the wi-fi source. Although the Imac can pick up the signal, the PC can’t. I didn’t want to run a cord down the hall, so I investigated my options and found the Netgear outlets. They were easy to set up, and I have been using them for two years. Download speed is 300 Mbps, quite enough for work. The Netgear outlet was relatively inexpensive, easy to install, trouble free, and provides 300 Mbps. I recommend the product.

NETGEAR - Powerline 2000 outlets.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I connected the two Netgear Powerline extra outlets. I was able to get internet in the room that I put in the outlets. It is like having a wired ethernet cable from the router to computer in the other room. These units work as advertised. I will buy two more to extend my network to other rooms.

Highly Recommended Great product.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I wanted to add wired Ethernet to a downstairs office after looking into all options I ended up going with EoP using the NetGEAR Powerline 2000. It was fast and simple to set up, doesn't require drilling through walls and pulling hundreds of feet of cable through a finished house. We have been using it for over a month and it has been rock solid with speed test that consistently run at our internet provider max speed. Great product I would use it again. My wife likes the outlet that allows her to continue to use the outlet as a charging spot for her laptop.

Works great, so far...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just got the Powerline 2000s yesterday. In summary, I'm glad I did. I have ATT 1G Fiber coming in to a generic ATT router which feeds my Nighthawk 7 router that I use to run Wifi to my 2 Tvs, AVR, 2 computers, a cell phone and other misc things. The routers are on the far side of our house from all the stuff we want to run. The main TV would sometimes buffer and otherwise lag or revert to lower resolution at times. I got the Powerline 2000s to run the main TV via ethernet. Installation was easy and the 2000s went 3 green within seconds of being plugged into the wall outlets. It gave our TV a constant 100mps speed, which is plenty for 4k viewing. It even appeared to us to give a better picture on all programs. Even though we have a premium TV, the Wifi is only 'ac' and I'm sure the ethernet port is only 100mps capable. For the heck of it, I tried moving my Nighthawk 7 to the TV room as that would be the best place for it. Unfortunately the most it would get is 130mps off the 2000s so I put it back where it was. Overnight the 2000s went into 'sleep' mode but woke up instantly when the TV was turned on. Still a great picture and sound. Plus our computers are now in the 500mps range because the constant TV traffic has been moved off the Wifi to ethernet. My only concern now is how long it lasts and whether or not it will have 'connection' issues going forward. I bought them from Best Buy because it would be easy to return if necessary. But, so far, so good!

Easy Installation, easy internet fix
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was having an internet issue with a dead spot ever since people started using the internet more with COVID. My internet speed went from red to all green once this was installed. Very easy Installation, just plug into the one outlet with my main router and then, into the room that had the issue. Only gripe was I needed a longer Ethernet cord for the PC it was being hooked up and luckily I had that! At first I was griping at the price, but it was well worth it and so glad that it fixed my issue since I am working at home.

Easy to install, work like they should.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Work like they should, simple installation. It covers the entire double wall plug, even if you put it in the lower one, it sticks up too high to use the upper one. A bit pricey to get the fastest internet access through the box.

Great solution for providing Ethernet for 4K HD
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent product that provides the ability to connect my streaming media player direct to my network via Ethernet. I have wifi6 routers but it still helps with the speed of the internet when connected through Ethernet instead of WiFi. The Ethernet port helps to eliminate any lag associated with WiFi even if it’s minor lag it is still more snappy and quick. It has allowed me to see full ISP speed direct to my connected devices. The Netgear Powerline is very simple to set-up and I was up and running within minutes. You need to plug one unit in by the router or modem. I chose to plug it in near my Netgear router so I could use the Ethernet from the router to supply the powerline adapter. Next just plug the other adapter in near your source device that you need to supply with the Ethernet connection. In my case I plugged the other adapter in near my NVIDIA shield streaming set-up. This has functioned great and the difference in speed is certainly noticeable with snappier load times. Overall just a more reliable connection over WiFi for providing a great streaming experience in 4K ultra or streaming my HiFi music it’s a great solution.
