I work from home and my office is across the house from the router. I’m on Zoom meetings all day and I kept losing connection. Hasn’t happened once since I got this.

This is my third go-round with powerline products. They never live up to advertised speeds and I understand there are several variables that can impact its operation. Having said that, they work ok, and where I wanted a direct connection instead of a wi-fi connection, they performed in that capacity. Not great, not bad. This latest version had more problems than previous versions. Connection would drop randomly (lose sync) and speeds at time were well below advertised and noticeably slow forcing me to do a hard reset This was using the same outlets as the previous version so I would not attribute it to that. I returned as I finally decided to do a direct ethernet connection from a network distribution box. If I was not capable of doing this I would have kept.

This product is the best solution for getting internet from a distance of 80' and 2 floors. Simple to set up, plug the sending unit in wall socket close to wifi, hook up an eithernet cable. place receiver in wall socket near the tv and hook up an eithernet cable to tv. Perfect streaming for the tv and the unit acts as a wifi so i am able to be on my laptap at the same time the tv is on. Could not be happier.

We have had this for over a month now. This worked great to expand our current signal to a guest room we have on our property. I hooked up a Cat6 Ethernet cable to our router that's located in the front of our house and ran it to the detached guest room. Paired the devices and about 5 minutes later the room had a great signal. Highly recommend.

Will be able to offer more opinion after using it for longer period. So far it seems to be doing what we bought it for. Any delays may be due to internet itself, so difficult to tell. The signal is going through a metal wall, so it seems to be worth every penny so far.

Wanted to extend our WiFi signal outside. We had almost no signal strength on our decks - only 1 room away from the router. After speaking with Best Buy rep via chat - he recommended this product to solve the problem. It was easy to set up and works great! Our coverage outside is strong everywhere in our backyard - 160 feet distance covered!

If you need a simple WiFi extender this is it. All you need to is plug the base into a power outlet and then plug the WiFi extender into another outlet in your home and you are done. I would recommend renaming there network and changing the password

It works just like I had hoped! The decinding factor for me was the two-prong plug. We have an older house and I wanted this in the hallway. No room for some wonky adapter sticking out in the hall. (The base that connects to the router is 3-prong, which was ok for my setup). I even unplugged the power line adapter I was using for my desktop computer and just connect using this wifi signal now, cuz it's stronger!

This was purchased for my in-laws b/c the Smart TV they got for Christmas would not pick up the regular Wi-Fi so they needed something that would do the trick and this definitely did. They sit around and now watch TV all the time because they are retired and have nothing else to do....LOL

I has a wifi dead spot in the basement where my son entertains his friends. This was a relatively inexpensive fix. It transfered my wifi signal through the breaker box and created a second wifi hot spot in the basement. Simple to hook up and with the data charge savings paid for itself!

it does work well but you will have to find a 110-120v outlet that will work best for you location. handles 200mb no problem when transmitter and receiver are properly located. i had a problem of metal walls so i ran a hard wire to the transmitter on the other side of the wall then found an ideal 110120v outlet.

Got this WiFi extender because the one AT&T sent did Not work. This was an easy set up. I needed the WiFi to extend about forty five feet to my small cottage in my back yard. It works! My sales person was helpful and knowledgeable.

I needed a better wifi signal in a metal pole shed. The modem was in one part of an insulated and heated area. I needed a better wifi signal in the cold storage area to run wifi outlet controls and this was the only thing that would work after trying other systems.

The router in the house was in an room addition that was added onto the existing concrete wall years ago. The wifi signal was weak due to the wall so it was recommended that I try this product I was told it conducts the wifi signal through the electric wiring. All know it works but it is more expensive than regular wifi extenders.

My son has been complaining forever about his xbox being slow in his room (as it's far from the wireless router). He's been asking about running wires from downstairs up to his room. With this, you don't need it at all. Full wired speed up to his room now. We use the available port to hook his xbox into in his room, and he also uses the wireless abilities for his phone when he's up there. Full speed. Excellent product.
