Good for boosting, but drops signal

It does drop signal from time to time which can be annoying if you have to go manually reset each one.

Effectively extends wifi coverage without wiring
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very simple solution as uses existing mains electrical wiring to transmit signals to remote wifi transmitters / Ethernet connections .Best solution I could find to extend WiFi range of Asus Dual Band Gigabit router (fixed location for Ethernet connection to desktop PC to furthermost areas of large house for new thermostats, iPads, etc.. Manual instructions could have been better!

You can only use on bottom outlet and might not have room to use the top outlet if your plugging something in that has a angled plug.

Works as good or better than you might expect

Took it out to the garage and plugged it in, and it's been running smoothly. Had one problem where I couldn't connect to it anymore, but a quick power cycle and it's working great again. Totally recommend.
