Recommended by a store employee. Saved us money from rewiring our home. The room we put the device in had cement walls and nothing prior worked in regards to wifi. This not only have full wifi access but also the entire house. High recommend this product!

Regardless of which outlet we plugged the pair of devices into, we could never get a better signal than "red," which is the lowest data rate. Plugging directly into the wall, an extension cord, or a power strip makes no difference [power strips may have metal-oxide surge suppressors which can reduce the effectiveness of the signal coupled into the powerline.] Final solution was to purchase a Google-WiFi triple pack (we don't need a USB port on the router).

Overall a good extender. I am using it for a home camera extender and works well, although the signal is not as strong as I had hoped!

Great product. Extends the range of my internet to opposite end of home. Wifi and hardwire connectivity. Product is compatible with other Netgear product to extend your internet in the hard to reach spots around the home.

The customer service was excellent; we described our needs and what directed towards several products. We landed on this baby and all is well. We have plaster walls and this products exceeds our expectations.

The modem and router are upstairs and I had extremely poor wifi downstairs. With the extender I have great reception in two rooms and improved in another.

This worked great for me. The only problem I had is that the password is very small on the back of one of the units. Took a long time to find.

This item was recommended as a way to extend your WiFi a little further. In my case, I needed to play my tunes out in the back yard, so I set this up in the carport and it has worked like a charm for a couple of months now.

I'm sure it's fine for what it's supposed to do. I had a similar one years ago that worked fine. I was trying to go from the house to my detached garage, so from one service panel to another. I kept it on the same leg feeding my garage but it didn't work, it's about 120ft from the house btw. I went with a wifi extender that just barely works but it gets the job done.

Tried other solutions and never achieved a satisfying result. This was a great solution to getting wi-fi in other parts of my home. Salesperson suggested I try this product and I am very grateful. Hope it works as well for you as it has for me.

Pretty cool tech if WiFi extender does not work for you. This device uses the electric circuit so you can get WiFi at any location as long as you plug the receiver to the same breaker!!!

It's like a mini router that extends your current network. Great price, great product, works great with my nighthawk r8000 x6. It works well with the netgear genie app. Definently great for lag-free gaming with an Ethernet port connectivity convenience.

I need wifi at the back house and have researched directional antenna and other solutions, and then came across this system using power line. Bought it and plug it in, setup the wifi SSID on this unit and that's it, it just works!
