directions aren't very clear, but once i figured it out, this works well. you don't need to plug this in and the part with the antenna goes into the room you need more coverage.

Installed and couldnt get my wi devices (tv's and laptops) to recognize the router anymore. Disconnected it and my router worked again. So i guess that i didnt understand. Took it back and got a refund.

The device quit working after a few minutes. Technical support said to retun it and request a replacement which I will do today. I will review the replacement as well.

These two netgear items were deemed unnecessary when a bestbuy GEEK came to install the mesh system. So both were returned.

This device is not worth the money. Bought it to provide wifi in my shop which shares the same power source and wiring as my house. Does not work. Barely works in my bedroom in the same house.

This didn't work for me. I gave it two stars, because maybe the configuration of my house made it difficult. But there were no limitations listed in the instructions so being generous just in case.

3 hours into support and still not working. The product succeeded in creating a wifi network, however it asked for a password and did not accept our actual wifi password or the default password. 3 hours with customer support could not resolve the problem. I downloaded the netgear genie app but there was no way to disable the password requirement. I found the whole customer support process terrible. I have to say NETGEAR products are off my buy list.

Does not work. Installed it in my basement where my service is weak. It was recommended by the Best Buy employee over all of the other devices. It made it worse. I will return.

Took it back. Set up seemed easy, but had too many issues with synching the network. Went back for a Linksys system

WiFi access point adapter works but I’m not satisfied. It is correctly installed but signal is not as strong as I was told. Will look for a better device.

for the fact that it has a small cord and requires it to also be plugged directly into a wall outlet, you might as well spend the money on an ethernet jack to be installed

Overpriced junk! Your better off ordering elswhere for a much lower price and better reviews.

i would not recommend unless you have no obstructed walls in the way. it did not work for me. poor connection all the time. returned and purchased the Orbi.

This device is hard to set up. The website provided for set up is impossible to access. After about 5 months it stopped working completely, then after recently moving the device it started working again for about a week and now not at all. I tried to reset the device and it does nothing and the website address to reset the device up does not exist. I would not recommend and would definitely not by another one. In fact, I think I would try another brand before I try netgear again.

The wifi extender doesn't help at all. We have seen no change in range.

The drop off is pretty bad, signal is worse than if just trying to connect to router direct. Better off trying out a moco solution

Very sad... Doesn't work with different breakers Just not for older house...

Did not notice any difference in signal strength. When watching streaming show I would still see lag.

Its not really that great. For the price I was expecting more. I can't recommend it.
