Works like a charm
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this based on a recommendation from a fellow colleague. My router was downstairs by my entertainment center, but I needed a wired connection upstairs in office for my VOIP phone for work and this thing worked better than I could have expected. I was sure there would be some sort of drop off in quality, however, after connecting this straight to my laptop and doing a speed test, it gave me the same speeds I was getting directly connected to the router downstairs! My home is older and was built in 1973 and like I said, it was working great. I am very happy with this purchase would absolutely buy this again!!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy set-up; works reliably as of 3-weeks of use. I connect it to my audio system which requires a wired ethernet connection. Effective for streaming audio and video.

Internet options
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product works perfectly, however it is also based off the wiring in the house so mine only currently runs 40mbps even though I have 1gb internet. But it solved my problem of getting disconnected off the wifi. I dont use it all the time in still on wifi most of the time but when everyone is home my wifi speed drops and I plug it in and I dont lag or get disconnected. All in all this is a great product if you have decent wiring and cant run ethernet cords in your house.

Solid connection as compared to wi-fi.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am using an A/C 1900 Netgear router with a 1200 AC extender, but was having a wireless internet connection problem to my Samsung 4K Smart TV across the house in the family room. I used this electrical direct adapter and have steady speed with quicker loading on Netflix. My speed to my notebook computer is about 85MB with a direct Ethernet connection, which is not much higher the a/c wifi. This adapter is much less expensive than getting a full scale high-speed router set-up.

Did the job!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product for the right price! Needed this to get a solid connection to my Samsung uhd smart tv! Works fantastic and never dropped connection or caused one buffering issue!

Perfect way to extend your network
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used this product to extend my network to my PS3. The wifi signal strength was very strong in a dead spot within the house. My connection was terrible and I wasn't able to play games online without experiencing a lag in the games. After plugging these into the was and connecting my network cables to the router and game console, my lag issues went away and my network download speeds were constantly up to 23mbps instead of the less than 5 on wifi. I would recommend this to anyone that may have dead spots or needing to have a network connection to a device that does not have wifi connectivity.

Wired without long bulky wires
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device is easy simply plug Ethernet chord to it and to the modem plug into a wall outlet my kids plugged the second one into Xbox and wall outlet all chords came with it this gave them a more seamless gameplay due to the location of modem and game room this was the best option to not have chords running through floors and ceiling FYI Ethernet chords provided with this are only 2 feet long so you may need a longer chord to reach a wall outlet and device

Download speed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re looking for gaming it definitely takes out the lag but using it to download a game or anything its very slow, my max download speed is 5 mb i have wifi built into my computer and it definitely exceeds the downloading speed of this product but overall i was only looking to take my game lag issues

Great way to add wired desktop to wireless network
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My new home is not wired for Ethernet, so I needed a solution to connect my desktop, which does not have a wireless adapter, to the network. This device works very well and isceasy to install....just plug it in to AC outlet near the wireless router, connect an Ethernet cable to it and the router, then plug the 2nd one near the device and connect it using an Ethernet cable.

Get ‘er done!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review....long story short. The location/position my desk is in would not reach where my Ethernet port was AND I didn’t want to run a cable across the room (I despise wires lol) AND cable is faster than WiFi sooo this fixed me up real nice, quick and easy install didn’t have to call cable company out or anything. Product is doing exactly what I need it to do. Have absolutely no problems installing it/setting up although the wire security isn’t working properly (flashing red light) even tho’ I haven’t took the time out to properly address it sooo that’s on me.

Doesn't reach a gigabit
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The connection is very stable and fine, however although being on a green LED (excellent connection) my gigabit connection shows up as <100mbps instead which is disappointing considering this is advertised as a Gigabit ethernet adapter. (wifi is faster..)

Like it a lot
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.wondering why it took me so long to find these things. I was going to try to run about 100 ft of ethernet before finding the power line adapter. works great. May have affected my internet speed a bit but maybe i did something wrong.

Works well enough for most tasks
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using these extenders for about a month. They, for the most part, can send a signal at about 90Mbps or around 11MBytes/sec over the wiring of your home. When using you want both plugs to be on the same side of your central fuse box (same phase of power). You also want to use the encryption, or the devices may connect you to your neighbor's network.

Great alternative
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was about to spend more money to have cable ran to my garage but I found out about these. The connection can be a bit unstable at times but it gets the job done! If you’re looking to have a wired connection due to distance from a router this is the product for you.
