Works great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an old stucco house that is impenetrable for signal. I used this to get wifi to my garage that's about 100 feet from my house. Works great!

Faster than previous Powerline
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced an older (much older) Powerline that was providing me with a top speed around 30Mbps on average. Upgraded to this model and now seeing speeds averaging between 70-80Mbps. For those new to using a "Powerline" do not expect the so called maximum output speed...that will never happen. However, a good Powerline unit will provide a much better throughput than many wireless networks will.

Worth the price tag
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really simple plug and play. Gave me the same speeds in my room 30 ft away from the modem as I did in my living room through an outlet in my room.

it did the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Major interruptions between my router and my ps4 downstairs. And this did the trick. Now I am getting blazing speeds as if were directly plugged into my internet. I just wish when buying a router the sales reps would explain how there can be signal blocks within your house so I could of bought this when I bought my router. So before you buy your next router or your currently having issues. Download a wifi analyser app. Put it near the device your trying to get signal too. If there is no or low signal. Buy this adapter and make sure you plug it into the wall electrical outlet not a surge protector.

Yes, but yes, try again
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have tried sooo many ways to extend our wifi to our detached garage, no luck. This actually works! It's new and improved! With a router, we're no longer disconnected in our outer humble abode, don't give up! This, plus a router!

Great units for extending your ethernet.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These devices work very well. If you need to extend your ethernet connection within a structure or even multiple structures that are on the same power system and can't get a cable to that area, this system will do that for you at Gigabit speed. These devices do not provide wifi if you need that included. However, Netgear makes a system that does include wifi built into it. I have purchased both systems and they work great.

Works well - fast speeds
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had OLD Netgear Powerline Adapters that were rated 85Mbs that would only give me 4Mbs when running to an additional wireless router downstairs. I switched to these and was getting between 40 and 60Mbs from my internet rated at 50Mbs. Pretty much minimal to no loss of speed from upstairs to downstairs using these. I will say that I have a brand new house with new wiring so not sure if that makes a difference. The adapters are on different circuits but same panel.

Good throughput without the wires
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used this in a upstairs bedroom and got about 45 mbps out of my normal 65 mbps cable modem connection. So it looks to be a good solid and reliable product.

Great Performance from NETGEAR
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My younger brother purchased this item to run internet directly to his PS4 and improve his gaming experience. To be honest, I really wasn't sure what the heck this was when we purchased it -- but I can see now that it makes a HUGE difference versus simply attempting to connect a console to Wifi through the home. He has never experienced any issues with this adapter. NETGEAR is a wonderful brand when it comes to reliable internet accessories!

Great alternative to running wires
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought this might be more stable than a wireless connection to the Router for streaming. It is. And I didn't have to figure out how to run an Ethernet cable in the attic, and then find a non visible way to drop it down the wall. I am pleased with the product. The fact that you can hook up as many as 15 more receivers as long as the circuits are served by the same breaker panel adds some versality, if you want everything to have an Ethernet connection and either cannot or don't want to run direct wires, this is a great way to go.

Great solution to an annoying problem
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I took a chance on this because my Smart TV, PS4, and Apple TV were all together and I kept losing connection. Plugged it into a wall outlet in my office, connected a CAT5 cable. Then plugged the other one behind the TV, and connected a CAT5 to a switch. Plugged everything in through the switch. Haven’t had any connection issues since I did this. Very happy and confident it will continue to work for a long time.

Worked Perfectly!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our internet router is downstairs by the entertainment center and my office is upstairs more than 50 feet away. So the wireless connection on that computer was about half of what it should be (it was about 25-30 mbps and we have 50 coming in). I put these adapters into outlets - one by the upstairs computer and one by the router, connected the ethernet cables, and boom! The upstairs internet was now at 50 mbps! So easy to "install" and works like a charm.

Good solution when wireless is not available
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son's new gaming PC did not include a wireless adapter and the one he borrowed from his cousin would not work, so we needed to look into buying an adapter. Found this in the store and have heard good things about the Ethernet over power lines, so we thought we would give it a try. Initial setup was very easy and after a month of using it, no complaints of network lag while gaming. I was concerned since I know the previous owner of the house had done some "wiring" and the lights dim when you vacuum, but there have been no issues.
