Better speeds than older 500mbs adapters

Painless installation with the 2 1200mbs powerline adapters. You do have to pair other adapters so they have the same encryption. Just hold the encryption button for 2 seconds and release quickly, then go to the other adapter and hold and their own encryption button for 2 seconds, and then release quickly. Network speeds are affected by distance as usual but overall they are faster.

    Awesome Device

I've been waiting for a way to bring hard line internet to other parts of my house and this does it! Plus, because it uses the same technology that chases away bugs and mice via the electrical wiring in the house (double bonus). I have more in my cart and expect to purchase them soon as they deliver full speeds and don't dip depending on WiFi signal.

The product has a simple and elegant design. My entertainment center needed a real ethernet connection and being in an apartment meant rewiring wasn't an option. The instructions were straight forward and simply plugging in the two components into the electrical sockets and using the two supplied ethernet cords at each end was all the work that I had to do.

Very good item. Especially if you rent an apartment an don't want buy an expensive router. This allows you to plug directly to whatever item you use and have good speeds across you place.

I bought it to solve the range problem with Dish Joey Access Point. I needed to move the access point to a central location where all my Joey WiFi receivers can reach. This did the trick and all is well. It is easy to setup since there isn’t much to do.

Frustrated with Tivo Mini ethernet only? Try this!

After trying (at least!) half a dozen other so called Ethernet adapters, I was ready to throw in the towel and pay a ridiculous amount to wire 2 rooms. Set up was a breeze - no frustrating software to configure. Simply amazing, couldn't be happier!

Just plugged it in and it worked - super fast! Followed instructions to make the network secure, also worked without effort. This is amazing compared to wifi. Thinking about buying more units - they say you can link up to 16 to form a network.

    Working well.

I bought this because it was impossible to ger a network cable dropped inside the wall where I needed it. It worked well, howere, I found it necessary to disconnect and reconnect one of the adapters from the power from time to time to "reset" the connections, it seems they would just "fall asleep" if not used in a while. In the end i bought a very fast router with the latest WiFi technology and has worked better than this. I am still keeping these in case I find another use for them.

This product allowed me to increase my internet speed. It does involve a cable to an outlet so that isn't as good as a wireless solution would be.

As long as your house wiring is on the same power phase from outside. this unit works great! No drilling, no holes in the wall, just use your outlets to extend internet service from room to room. Awesome!
