I like to have certain things on a wired connection and this allows me to do that without running extra long Ethernet cables around the house. It's just like using a direct port on the modem. I've noticed to lag like a WiFi repeater.

seems to work good, there are times when I need to restart my router. I loose my signal in my home office pretty regularly.

it works but I have expected faster speeds the connection is solid, hardly ever cuts out.

Just make sure the adapters are on the same circuit. If they aren't, there will be a lag spike every 2-5 minuets. Other than it, it's great

My wifi signal varies greatly throughout my 3 story house (including basement) such that I only get about 12mb in some spots even though I get 100mb from my cable company. The powerline carrier device from Netgear gives my PC and my TV full bandwidth inside the house - it's fantastic. Now if I could get a consistently reliable signal from WOW, I could enjoy uninterrupted content. Comcast may suck at customer service, but at least their bandwidth quality is good. Solid network performance in the house via powerline carrier technology makes it very clear where your networking weaknesses are - in my case it's the service provider....

we stream and have a sprawling ranch. I never hear my son complain his online gaming isn't working anymore. The router is in my room, the addition and his room is past the kitchen down the hall at the end. He plugs an Ethernet cord right in from the power line device.

My internet connection was very slow and this item was exactly what I needed. I installed it just as the salesman instructed, and presto I had no difficulty with the slow connection again. It worked so well I bought two more for my other employees.

Works as intended. I needed an alternate option to run an ethernet cable to my computer upstairs and this worked perfect! I haven't noticed any issues with performance. Very convenient product compared to running a cable through my walls.

I bought this for a tv that won't pick up the wifi connection on its own as it is too far away from the router. This took care of that for me. It is simple to install and use.

The store associate helped with picking the correct one. We have an xbox in our basement and the router is on the top floor. We plugged this in and it works great. No more lagging on the game.

The product materials are made of plastic which makes it feel cheap and easy to break. The paring is very easy but the range is okay.

Had a broken CAT6 wire and no time to run a new one. Just plugged in at modem and desk top and started using computer on line right away!

I use this product for a voip phone and it works like a charm. No drops. Reliable. The phone and router are about 25 feet away from each other.

I had to initially set it up in the house for it to work, but after it worked inside, I was able to use it to connect my garage to the house network and then run a wireless router (setup as an access point) for wifi in the garage.
