Loved this option working from home

Our router was in the living room and the work computer HAD to be plugged directly into the router. There was no way this could have happened. We could not find a long enough cord to go from the living room into the kitchen (and who would want that intrusive option anyway). The Netgear Ethernet Adapter was the perfect solution.

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worse speeds on ethernet when using this across my apartment vs 5.0gHz wifi band, even with the horsehair plaster. Older circuits/breaker panels don't mesh well with the signal, I guess. If you're on the same breaker as you plug in and out, you're probably close enough to run a CAT6 cable no problem. Older style breakers seem to be the issue
