    I've had it hooked up to both my main router and my extender. Both give me 10-15 mbps. It's more an issue of my provider. If you don't wanna use wifi or run an ethernet cord 500 ft. This will work very good for you. However. It has completely stopped working for two hours or so. So keep it in mind.
